In high school:
Attached to the wall by a 6' spiral cord, sitting on the stairs talking sweet nothing to my sweetheart.

In the service:
Sitting on the deck at night talking about the Universe and Life. Solving all the world's problems with logic and reason.

Laying with my wife on the floor:
Dreaming dreams and planning our life with our children.

On website forums:
Page after page of enlightenment and fantasies.
Meaningless banter to while away the hours.

Afternoons that turned into evenings and straight on to morning:
Camping trips, tailgating, backyard fire-pits and trail exploring.

My Favorite Subjects:
Depends upon who I am with and my connection with them.
Always- Practical physics
Psychology and awareness
Intimately, erogenous zones and applications of pleasure
Extreme engineering and motorsports
Amazement and awe
Over-looked concepts and examples of people acting against their nature
Anything enlightening
I love the 'did you know' conversation.

Duration:
A few hours to 96 hours - in all fairness I must explain that the 96 hour conversation happened in college and we were all tripping on acid.

I would love to have someone here with me to talk with.

I can't even imagine what its like to be having a conversation while high tom. Ive only been slightly tipsy twice in my life. I know that cant compare to what you described.

that's immediately what I thought of...."back in the day" when everybody was tripping and on who knows what...conversations that would last for days and nights...solve all the world's problems and all of life's mysteries... then you sobered up and forgot it all

Solutions from "the stoned" . That would be an awesome documentary 37ko :)

My problem is I didn't forget
I have an excellent memory
I can even recall the stuff I felt while tripping often almost tripping again.
But then, I'm weird.

Might be weird , but its anextraordinary ability to have Tom :)

This week I had one of the most engaging conversations Ive ever had .

It lasted 8 hours on the phone, and we had to cut the conversation short to get some sleep!

Whats the longest conversation you ever had , either by text/ phone call/video chat , whether pleasant or not?

I want to do a long conversation with you:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Actually... (and NOT creepy at all)...I've been watched while sleeping during a video chat (not the whole time I was told lol)...and been told, "Good Morning'.

It made me feel important to whom mattered.

In my experience, tripping was not being high.
Tripping was experiencing life from an altered perception.

Drink some alcohol and you get drunk, lose functionality.
Smoke some pot you get buzzed, high, for me it enhances perceptions I already have. I tried smoking for pain relief and it backfired because it made me more aware of my pain and sick feeling and let me realize just how much I compensate.

Tripping on acid changes your 'you'. It changes how you see, hear and feel the world around you. Changes that stay with you even in hindsight. You remember. After you laugh about the strange ways you see things and gather composure you are in control of yourself. Real acid changes the chemical composition of your spinal fluid. The affects lasts for days.

I remember the physical sensations of the chemical changes that occurred.

Not sure.

Conversations don't have to end and can be revisited and started again and grow.

New conversations can be started and had with an underlying association or link to previous conversations.

Several seemingly disparate conversations can be linked together with a different conversation.

Not to mention, conversations are generally a qualitative experience and have less quantitative measure.

With one person a 6 hour conversation could be necessary whereas another person the same conversation and effects could be had in 3 minutes.

Other than that, I can say what felt to be the longest conversations I ever had were with women I knew I was incompatible with but were such horror shows that I couldn't hang up or leave and had to know what was going to come out of their mouth next.
e.g. women with "tests" they gave me as a prospective date, with a physical list of interview questions. women that voted for Obama. Women with...incompatible to me...life stories.

Or with family members during the holidays.

Those "felt" the longest, but not sure how long they actually lasted.
