me too, mostly younger folks who live via social media and apps.

I have this site and my transcription site and thats about it. I dont do the app thing either, and my phone is for phone calls, and sometimes messaging.

So you dont loke that they want to converse with you on a private platform that allows quicker response times due to annoying notifications and facilitates the exchange of nekkid photos

Me either

Depends when they ask. I don't go on any App just like that if I'm only just chatting with a man. Then the dating site is good.

What I've noticed with men that if you've been talking a few times they want to go to WhatsApp because then they can get away from the PC, on the settee in front of the telly and chat with you while they watch their favorite program.
You can tell because then suddenly it takes forever for them to reply.
I asked once, and he confirmed. Well, sod that. I'm not on hold as a 'gap filler' while a man is doing something else.
He either has time for me or not. And when he is interested, he does. But I don't go to WhatsApp soon, sometimes not even when we've agreed on a date. I don't like to hand out my phone number tongue2

I think that the multitude of messaging apps available are actually hampering communication. I'm mean which one are you using today mate???

I tell friends that if they wish to communicate with me, ring. If the message they wish to convey is time sensitive a text message will not suffice as sometimes I won't touch or look at my phone for hours or even days.

I don't have Whatsapp or KIK.
