This is an opinion piece, but it gives food for thought.

Granted, people who worship Donald Trump will defend the guy even if the evidence were to reveal that he did something wrong.

Oh boy the Daily Beast, what a great reference source.

If we are judging Trump based on the democrats idea of wrong doing , than he is a Saint compared to the underhanded unethical way the dems. conduct themselves and the way they govern.

With the many twists and turns in the left's
"hot pursuit" of Donald Trump, it often reminds
me of Wyle E. Coyote vs. the Roadrunner.

tears slaphead . The lights are on but……
While you dems. keep up the fake narrative about Trump , the people are rejecting the Trump deranged legislators and voting for Trump backed legislators 94%. The writing on the wall is clear, the democrats have blown up their party . And will lose big time.

Liberals who cannot understand they are constantly being controlled by far left communist leaders over Biden are delusional.

Humm even if it is believed he does not have the right to call for Executive Privilege.

This is not the first time a Former President has in fact used the Executive Privilege. It is not like he is doing anything different then past Presidents have done..

Will it do him any good I doubt it for you have to have the sitting President to agree.. Which we all know will not happen even if Trump is right Biden would not agree with anything that Trump says even if he was right for taking the action he did...

The Constitution provides former Presidents with no powers or role, and yet numerous former Presidents including Truman and Nixon have asserted executive privilege in order to withhold information from Congress, historians, and the public. The most recent former President, George W. Bush, is likely to make similar assertions based upon his sweeping view of the rights of former Presidents as reflected in his recently revoked Executive Order 13,233, potentially leading to a constitutional collision between the rights of former Presidents and those of Congress. This article argues that notwithstanding Nixon v. Administrator of General Services, former Presidents should retain no right to assert executive privilege based upon the text, structure and historical context of the Constitution and its antimonarchical premises, as well as the nature of executive privilege when compared to other privileges.

Granted, people who hate Donald Trump will demand he be charged and convicted even if he is proven not guilty of anything. This is their idea of a fair judicial system.

Executive privilege?! Why would that make this mishandling of classified documents okay?
