All my life I have lived basically alone. Every time I start to get close to a woman, its the same story... I figure out she has feelings for some other dude.

I give up.

Somebody asked me why I find these type of women attractive... ha... as if I could figure THAT out... (NOT)...

Has anyone else come to this same conclusion about that four letter word... "L.O.V.E." ???

It seems like a myth... it seems the society has so retrograded to impurity that even the ones who "say" they are the faithful types are even un-faithful types.

It has been 100% consistent in my life's experience... no woman has ever been faithful to me. Some other dude pops up in the picture somewhere down the road...

It really sucked when I was married and that happened...

It sucks even more when you think you've found an honest-to-goodness trustworthy person... and they end up being not trustworthy.

I thought this might be worth a topic... so there ya' go...

I am sorry for your experience! I guess we call that a case of bad luck, yet I believe there is someone out there that will be loyal to you!
If anything check out my profile and if you enjoy the jokes and quotes that change everyday then add me as a friend. Maybe i can help find a woman with dignity if you like.

Thanks and good luck!

Dude it's like you're running on a commission. Are you selling adspace on your profile or something?

Telephone Man - if everyone thinks that everyone else isn't trustworthy, then surely no one will be since they all think "why be trustworthy if no one else is." It's nearly impossible, but you have to realize that there are actually faithful people out there. Finding them and recognizing them, of course, is an entirely different story grumble

Its not just "happened" to me... it happens every time feelings start to develop in every relationship I have had, all the way back to high school... it is a pattern, and it keeps me single... I would rather give up even trying... and I never try, that's just it... its usually years in between relationships, then it turns out to be the same damned thing...

1) Boy meets girl
2) Boy falls for girl
3) Boy figures out girl has other boyfriends, etc...

Jeesh....

I have come to the conclusion that there are NO good women left on Earth... at least in America... the culture here is too self-centered ... non-committal ... not worthy of my attempts of continuance in the dating game.

I add it sounds like a pity party.

Nah, I like the analysis and thoughtful questioning of the underlying reasons which might contribute to the problem. A pity party is when you whine about the problem without thinking of any possible reasons or solutions.

I don't think society as a whole understands the meaning of faithfulness.

This is my understanding, too...

Even if you lay out the ground rules, and communicate well... it has been my experience that even a Christian woman, says she doesn't date, ever, hasn't dated in 5 years (supposedly)... is still addicted to love-type communications with a variety of men, instead of just one...

Maybe the "harem" philosophy is more fitting to human nature... but that makes us out to performing just the sex act like dogs in heat... supposedly we are able to rationalize beyond the animal instincts... sex happens at one part of the day, then the rest of the day is the relationship...

I can't even seem to find anyone able to form the relationship part... it appears to be non-existent in our Western/American culture...
