I just got one. Its super fun to see the other person youre talking to. Im not going to use it for dirty reasons. But its a sweet way to cummunicate online. I suggest them for every one!

i have one, its about 7yrs old. im pretty sure i need to get a knew one, as it has its own mind when it wants to work.
i only use it mainly for emails when i want to post a pic i have in my folder.

but i dont use it much other wise

I always wanted to get a webcam to update my picture but that's about it. Maybe even talk to people. But I'm in no big hurry to get one right now.

Agree, I use a video cam instead with a long cable and am able to show my friends the projects I've been working on, pull it to the window, check out the weather, etc.

I stopped doing the cam cuz 90% of the time it was some guy on the other end wanting me to see his manhood..If I wanted to see some strange man's pecker I'd watch cinemax..

It's probably not your camera but your connection. If you are on DSL the speed is the same all the time. But if you are on cable the advertised speed is under ideal conditions which never occur. Cable uses what is called bus technology, as more people get on the bus the damn thing has to make more stops, is carrying more weight and eventually moves like a slug, not fast enough for the camera to work well. Time Warner is by far the worst. WOW is best. I've had them all and I work in the industry.

Well I might be strange depending on what you mean but not all of us guys are going to show you that thing - a cam signal can be intercepted. Touchy feely is the word.
