It flows through the trees
brushes by the meadows lands
whistles in and out the clouds
gushing wildly as it goes
passing a hand into the reeds
pushing by as it reaps
driving the cattails wildly and free
shaking all the seeds of love
what god has given from above
laying back in the long grass
the wind carresses my face
lifting me up from my past
drifting and sifting through the cast
come play with me, for all to see
so you can see your loved
oh, little one don't feel down
cause he will be the one you found
in your heart he will set apart
the pain of growing up
in his hand he has a plan
to set your spirit free
so let the wind carry you
one day soon you'll see this through
as it was really meant to be, to a heart so true.
