I would like to express my appreciation to eveyone here in the 50's group for their concern and friendship they have shown me since i have come to this group. My time with the fire is now done and I am heading back to work tomorrow morning. Its not often you meet extrordinary people in this world but this group is in that catagory,,,for the friendship they display and the concern you all have shown . With all this past week has brought I feel lucky to have found such a wonderful bunch of people

After my fire, it was MONTHS before I had a grip on things. I went to get something and had to stop and remind myself that I didn't have it any more. Got to be a joke in the family, Hmmmmm was that B.F. (before fire) or A.F. (after fire).

I am glad you seem to be doing OK. It's an awful thing to experience.

I see that I’m not the only one that has set my past by BF and AF. For what its worth Wayne my home had heavy smoke and fire damage with the kitchen being the worse.
And with all fire and smoke restoration they did I can still from time to time smell it on a hot humid day. Good luck my friend.

It looks like some of us has had the same experience...sorry you had to go it alone. Like Tim, I just had very heavy smoke damage and was able to save most of what we had at the time. I hope you were able to salvage something too. If you need anything, let us know!

I was away all week and just learned about the fire at your house. I'm so glad that you are well and can't imagine what you are going through but I am just happy that you are here to share with us. Take care and I hope we see you back on Topicless real soon.
