Topic: Logging in via cell phone

I understand that the use of this site through cell phones is not really supported. However, I used to be able to log in and use this site on my iPhone. Now, it will not let me log in at all. It just takes me back to the login page. What happened to change this? Any idea if it will be fixed?

My phone chokes and pukes on this site and it works well with most everything. It hates Mingle to pieces. It wants to vomit me back into sign up over and over.

We haven't changed anything with respect to the login mechanism recently, so it could be ad-related. As you noted, we simply do not support mobile devices at this point. As a result, I'm sure the ads are not optimized in that regard. For what it's worth, I was still able to log into Mingle2 from my phone as of last night.

This started happening a few weeks ago and is disappointing. I never had any issues prior to that. Are you going to support this site for mobile phones anytime soon? The other big free sites have apps that work well. I'd settle for being able to log in again.

I can understand where you are coming from. The launch of a mobile app has been delayed, but we are still working on it. It should be and is a priority, but we also have other big picture issues which we are simultaneously hashing out. I don't have an ETA, but I will try to do a little sleuthing.
