Well, I guess which thread to come to when looking for films to add to my growing collection of 1,500 movies. Well done man! One big one I am missing is the film 2012, I love that movie, but its difficult looking for a torrent, because when I search 2012, every movie that came out that years pops up haha!

I don't do torrents.

http://www.movie4k.to/n-2012-watch-movie-5168588.html

http://www.watchfreemovies.ch/watch-movies/2009/watch-2012-5276/

Try your torrent search as "2012-(2009)"
Or a torrent search of "Roland Emmerich film"
Or an actor search.

To each their own. Haha. Torrents have worked easier for me, Don't always have an internet Connection for one, for two im always coming and going. So if I download, I know I have them. when moneys tight and I have to sacrifice Internet for other bills or even long car trips, well I always have my movies haha.. any way after some patience I was finally able to find and add 2012 to my collection, I had to search 2012 (2009) still had to sift through some films from both those years, but eventually got it.

Hey everyone, I have over 1,500 movies on my hard drive, but have seen them all. Anyone have any suggestions of a good movie to check out? I like main stream, B movies and even some foreign films so it don't matter!

Also if you like Mafia Movies check out The Last Don 1 and the Last Don 2. They were written by the same guy who wrote the Godfather, Mario Puzo and the same production team from the Godfather was involved.

It's a more realistic movie how the Mafia is involve din the illegal activities in New York, Nevada, the Casinos and the Movie Industry. It's my favorite Mafia Movie. Joe Mantegna was awesome in it along with Jason Gedrick, Danny Aiello, Darryl Hannah, KD Jang, Penelope Ann Miller, Kirstie Alley and many others. It's a very awesome movie.

I love Mob movies, Scarface...Godfather trilogy was fantastic..well the first 2. Ill check these out

I have the same problem...a lot!

I just got The Hive (2015)
It took me a few minutes to get what was going on but it wasn't bad.
Almost a zombie movie but not zombies, an infection. One man's attempt to beat it.

Have you seen The Seasoning House? Tremors just released number 5 and Burt Gummer is killing graboids again. Pretty cool upgrade on the cgi monsters.
I just got I Spit On Your Grave 3 but haven't watched it yet. Christmas Horror Story looks fun. Exeter had me rooting for the demon but it was fun to watch. Spooks (The Greater Good) is a spy movie based on a UK TV Show that is not too bad.
12 Rounds 3 wasn't bad, bad cops vs good cop in a locked down cop shop.
Blood Moon is werewolves in the old west like a cowboys vs werewolves thing
Demonic was okay I guess. Not as graphic as exeter but okay to watch.

Have you tried going backwards in viewing? Like the 50s? Tarantula, Them!, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was pretty good.

One of the things I do when I get flustered over the new choices is go to actor IMdb pages and scour the actors movies for the ones I don't have.

I also use wikipedia to find movie groupings. I like animal attach movies, MONSTER movies and old comedy (Danny Kaye, Jerry Lewis, Abbott & Costello)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_monster_movies
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_natural_horror_films
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_comedy_films
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_action_films_of_the_2000s

You never specified what kind of movies you want to see?

Havent Been on in a few days. I didn't even know about I Spit on Your Grave 3! im looking for it now. I have the rest of them, anyway good sugestions. Thanks man.

I have not seen any of the Hunger Games films, I have no intentions of doing so. Same with The Twilight films. I had considered both, but as soon as the first Twilight and The Hunger Games films were released, that's all anyone would talk about. So I have basically decided to silently protest these films. lol.

i tried watching one of the twilights and hunger games movies, both sucked so bad i couldn't keep interested...

Glad to know! More reason to never see them!

i guess twlight is great, if your a 13 YO girl... i can't see how anyone watches the hunger games tho... another one i won't watch either is called "the maze runner", but i guess someone did, they came out with a second turd movie...

I downloaded the maze runner, skimmed through it. seemed boring. I deleted it. HAHA

i usually skip all of Leonardo DiCaprio's movies, but the wolf of wall street was great.. if you haven't seen it, try it

Oh, I have. Was a really good movie. I enjoyed Inception as well...Even though it can get a bit confusing.

My brother-in-law is extremely proud of the fact that he has never seen a movie with the word "Star" in its title.

Ha! now that I think of it, Neither have I. I have all 6 Star Wars movies in my collection, just never felt like watching them. Not really into sci-fy, though I did enjoy Avatar.

I like what Bernie has had to say. At this point, he is the only one I'd consider voting for, if he isn't on the ballet, well I guess I'm not voting. Doesn't matter much though, North Dakota only has 3 electoral votes, and they always go for the conservative.

To answer the other question, right now, no I would never vote for a republican, maybe someday my views will change. But I am a Liberal.

I've always wanted to be a film critique myself
I'm the worst movie junkie
Dunno, maybe u're even worse Matty haha
My sisters both adore Edward Norton and same as u, watch all his movies
I, so so. Like him but not fav

My only problem would be the fact that I don't know if I could judge a movie based on their standards, I know what works for me, which obviously would work for everyone. For example, I found "A Serbian Film" to be a great piece of art. However, the themes and overall darkness of the film, I would actually caution most people, and recommend that they don't see it. However, this may belong on another thread. Sorry if I changed the subject of what you wanted to accomplish here.

The Green Mile is another amazing film, I'd also like to add Forrest Gump to my list. I can't believe I over looked that one!

Also maybe I should post a new thread, but out of curiosity who are your favorite actor and actress. I already stated Edward Norton, but for actress I would say Ellen Page, She hasn't made a movie I haven't enjoyed, So I'd also like to add "Juno" and "Hard Candy" to my list.

Primal fear and fight club are probably tied for my second favorite movie. Edward Norton, he is my hero. Also, My favorite actor. I could have listed almost every movie he has done on this list, with the exception being "Birdman". I know it was critically claimed, but I found it to be extremely weird. I am glad I experienced it, just didn't enjoy it. I am a big movie buff, working in the film industry would be a dream job. Actually, being a film critic would be the dream job :)
