I do a full moon ritual and summon them to come... Lady- I would Love to Join you some time. Honestly. I had a feeling we were kindred spirits. *smile* Before My Finace' died in 1991, he lived in my Family home with us. My entire Family saw, sensed, heard, or smelled him in that house for years after. Wow, I certainly have done my fair share of thinking about him this evening... I am betting he will visit me in my Dreams tonite... Kinda makes me want to go close my eyes... |

I could say "ditto" to just about everyone here who has given you "props" about being both Strong and Beautiful, as they are Very True Statements. I also agree, in today's society women are so much more Liberal with their hair, and how they are wearing it... I'm betting this is the perfect time to feel the most comfortable about BEING Comfortable! Hell, Look at Melissa Etheridge! And she's One Hot Rocker! In September of 2005 I was diagnosed with what is called Alopecia Areata. In short the definition is "hair loss in small, round patches, usually on the Scalp, that may go away on their own, or may last for many years" http://www.aad.org/public/publications/pamphlets/common_alopecia.html My case was Stress induced. At one time I had 4 spots on my head, that ranged from Silver-Dollar sized to MUCH larger. Luckily, the largest of them all was very much Underneath the rest of my hair... toward the base of my scalp. When they started showing up in the Front, around my face, I really started to worry, as I normally pull my hair back in a single clip... I really considered shaving it all when it was apparent that this condition I was "gifted" with showed no signs of stopping. As soon as the hair started to grow back, and got to the Peach Fuzz Stage, and I had HOPE again... Another Bald spot seemed to appear. I am sharing all of this, because it is a subject that hits home for me. What I say to you is: I hope yours comes back Full force, as mine has, (YAY!!) and that maybe for you, it will all be "uniform" instead of with a mind of it's own! Enjoy all of those Shorter Hair-Do's that you have always admired, but could never quite see yourself having the nerve to pull off!! For now, Be PROUD of your FUZZ!! *Smile* You EARNED it Sister!!!

Would relive February 25 because three big event on different years happened to me on that day, 2 were bad events in my life and one a good one, would want to relive it for that one good day" Would like that the two bad ones end up with a different result but would relive those bad events just to live again that good one. Every year now I look at this day with an eye that asks "What will it be this year" hmmm... that's big. |

 I would re-live August 14, 2006...it was the most beautiful, happiest day - for many reasons. What a beautiful memory that remains in my heart... always. Cool....what that the day you fell in love? No... the man I loved had terminal brain cancer - and for over a year he was in constant pain from head to toes.... on August 14, 2006 - around 3:30am, he woke up and felt like going to the beach..said he wanted to swim in the ocean. So we drove there...and we were in the water for the better part of 10 hours straight. Around the 4th or 5th hour I realized that he seemed completely pain-free...so I asked him....and then he realized that all the pains that cancer brings with it were completely gone. For those 10 hours on that day there was no cancer in our lives - we were just able to be in love, be happy, silly, no worries... It was truly a gift, so amazing... He died on June 28, 2007 -- but guess what... I've gone to the exact spot where we were the last two years on August 14th...and the feeling is just as beautiful. Because I know the happiness he felt that day he now feels forevermore. (plus, I feel like a part of him is there with me...) Thank you for bringing this memory to me now - it's the best.   Wow that is so beautiful... OK Italy... you Completely Stole my Exact Phrase!! Dawn- My Fiance' Died of Brain related complications on November 5th, 1991. He was not long-Suffering, as they were car-accident related, but I can SO Sympathize with you. We Started dating on 8-8-88 *Smile* If I could re-live a day... it would have to be between then, and the day he passed as well. There were so many wonderful ones to choose from, I cannot pull out a single day... I Thank YOU for your Story, and bringing my own to mind.
