You make a good point, Abracadabra...it is a shame humans haven't
learned from history. And time and time again, we intelligent humans
have ignored prophecy and its fulfillments. The Bible is a factual,
historical, and scientific Book that has proven itself over time.
Biblical prophecies accurately show what the future holds. The prophet
Isaiah looked to the future on many occasions and wrote, by name, about
Cyrus; he mentioned the Messiah...to name a couple. An excellent site to
learn more about prophecy as written in the Bible is:

"I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I lock every
other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the
locks, they are always locking three. " ~Elayne Boosler

I liked Wit with Emma Thompson. Why...it made me laugh, cry, angry,
numb...it dug into all my emotions and drew me into her story.

To limit it to three....

I'd say honesty, communication, & attraction. But a close runner up is
things in common and being able to be yourself with that person.

Just remember there's no rush to make a decision...better to delay and
make the right one than rush and make the wrong one. Believe me...I
speak from experience! Good luck & keep us posted. :)

Don't make a decision until you've met both...and make sure they both
understand that meeting them does not mean marriage or anything else
serious...it's just a meeting in person. Also, just because the one from
overseas is so young, doesn't mean she won't be perfect for you. You
won't know until you've met both face to face. And, the chance exists,
that upon meeting them you'll only want to be friends with both...:)

I've been a stay-at-home wife & mom for almost 8 yrs now and it's
definitely not easy. Before marriage I was always on the go...full of
adventure. Once I said 'I do', the brakes were slammed on and everything
came to a screeching halt. Unfortunately I lost my identity and am now
struggling to find it again. I love my kids. But one of the things
that's negatively affected my marriage is staying home 24/7 and having
no adult interaction...it's not been a balanced situation. Done right
and with the right husband/spouse it can work. Living off of one income
can be a challenge...you sacrifice and have a very tight budget!

the only way to find out what happens when you die is to read about it
in the Bible. It'll have your answer.
