g.w.s legacy

1. kept comics out of the unemployment line for 8 years (one of the few thriving sectors)

2. effectively kept us engaged in a war we never should have entered to start with.(for huge personal profit)

3. no new building permits recently issued in major cities due to rebuilding after plane crashes.

4. good quarterback...(toss the ball into someone elses lap and pass the blame)

5. gave the world a new definition for the word "shrub"

6. set the best example ever on how not to run a country

7. reinstilled the notion amongst the children of this generation "someday you can become president" (if gw can twice anybody can)

8.??????????????anyone???

ok so far we still have comedic content topping the list...and a few suggestions of how we can go back to blaming clinton..bush sr...yada yada yada......ok...heres the deal...the question to defend or not to defend bush??? whered that come from???...defend him from what was his greatest deed???...well lets try again...something good...greatest accomplishment...what should his legacy be??? quit defending....just point towards one good deed...or maybe the bar has been set to high...how about one almost competent thing...that he /himself alone was resposible for....anyone???...aparently he was far worse than i ever thought...i figuired at least one person might point to something...anything...i know its a difficult grasp...theres gotta be one good deed we can put down in the history books....

dude, I responded to your question openly and honestly. If you want to discuss that, I'd be happy to but I'm not going to engage in your gratuitous self-satisfying Bush bashing.

I don't think him asking how people's lives are better or what his greatest accomplishments were is bellyaching. There are a ton of people out there who always defended Bush. Nothing wrong with asking why.

If it wasn't a pointed and clearly divisive question, I'd agree with you but the question was clearly intended as yet another jab at the Bush Administration..

What was the name of that site.. oh, come on..

oh yeah MOVEON... wasn't that the mantra from the left beginning somewhere around April 2002.. move on.. take a page from your own ideology and just move on already..

the question is clearly how are we better off now...what was his greatest accomplishment???
so far ive got the answer...nothing...it seems as though the flock of sheep has been led into a place but nobody can figuire out why...

my daughter once told me that religion is a weakness of mind...for those not strong enough to face life on thier own...since this party thread has turned into a sermon i just thought id toss that out there.
Without Jesus we would not have life. He is what makes us strong.

if thats what you choose to believe ;)

i personally dont believe the bible is the word of god...nor do i believe jesus was any more a child of god than you or i...just a man...the bible was written as a means to control the masses by a king that was weak...what better way to control a population than by creating rules enforced by a vengeful god?
