About half of which were not Republicans at all.
About half were racist bigots who just wouldnt vote for a black man.

I figure McCain recieved the 22% of blind, loyal Bushies, and the rest were just Racists.

i did however see haliburton and its subsidiaries get paid for alot of services they did not provide...i watched alot of brand new trailers (like 20,000 of them ) that could have housed people sink into the mud and be bulldozed...i watched the body search stop for several months while corpses rotted because the government didnt pass enough funding to continue the search...when they finally did cough up more cash i personally watched them pull bodies from buildings 6 months after the storm...i watched the shrub shut down work for 175 trucks everytime he decided to land his stupid litlle helicopter on the levy to roll up his sleeves for the news crews to tell america how hard we were working...i watched families pick through their belongings that were scattered everywhere to save tiny momentoes...sometimes with tear filled eyes as they tried to salvage things already scooped into trucks....thats the new orleans i saw...i didnt see anyone lay down...though i did see a few people breakdown...theres a pretty big difference.

of this country to change the state of our troubled world???

Ok, Stonekeeper.
I spent some time in Southerm Ms. and New Orleans just after Katrina. I saw and as well as others what nationality the main workforce consisted of. A lot of American Contractors were there trying to get in on some of the clean-up and rebuilding jobs. Americans were pushed aside for Illegal Labor.
If you investigate, you might be surprised, a lot are in housing now. They don't have to prove nationality and their lenders will "bend" the rules to get them in, knowing, sooner or later their temporary jobs will end and they will lose the home to the lender.
There are other Illegal Advocates who are getting them deferred foreclosures, in hopes LaRaza's attempts to get bail-out monies for them.

i was one of the american contractors that came down from wisconsin after katrina...me and about 25 others in my camp...i was one of the first wave of trucks to arrive here and had a security badge to get through the check points...after getting the streets opened up we hauled dirt to the levy...not a single illegal in the bunch.....i was here for a year after the storm...left and came back....i saw what happened...one thing i didnt see was what you describe...sure there were a few texicans working alongside blacks ,whites,asians...we all had a job to do and we got it done as best we could...do i really care if people that came here to help the recovery worked thier way into housing??? not really.

my all time fav was dale sr. it was kind of ironic that i missed that running of daytona for the first time in many years....i quite watching after that until last year...i like mark martin...though hes not what he used to be...he is old school...dale jr...and carl edwards are amongst newer favorites...i think kyle bush is a nerveless driver...i think his career will be short and spectacular..and i absolutely despise jeff gordon...to me he pretty much represents the yuppy version of nascar...id really like to see tony stewart do well with his new team.

I wouldn't know if it was long, Quiet. I stopped when I read this:

"Maybe, when obama takes all our jobs, taxes us all into the poor-house or streets and the CEO's are back to their style of living, we might get a little trickle-down from them.
Or, if we claim to be Mexican Nationals, we can get some of that bail-out money also."

thats about how far i went too...it didnt take long to figuire out it was just gonna go down the toilet from there....but yes it was a very long list indeed.

Tramp stamps and big tits.

Barney. That big annoying purple dumbass. It's like the Teletubbies. If there were intelligent parents out there these shows would not exist. No one would watch them. But sadly... even idiots are allowed to breed.

The biggest misfortune is, that big annoying purple dumbass was created as a hand puppet by a (Texas?) housewife, and turned it into a multi-million dollar thing. Don't know if that makes her intelligent or not, but luck sure played a big part in that (and the stupidity of others who bought into all the hype).

And Valentine's Day (that's for you, Deb).

big tits are definately overrateddrinker

i also think the insanity plea..or unfit for trial status has to be abolished...if youre too crazy to understand that murder or other horrible crimes are wrong...then you are also too crazy to live.

i think the death penalty should exist...but death row as we know it should not...it should be a short term thing...perhaps 6 months...time enough for one appeal..then let em fry.
