any info i have would be hear say...i didnt witness anything...and in fact when i was told who the perp was i cautioned the person to be very careful as it wasnt right to spread such a rumor without facts to back it...as it turned out they arrested someone else...i may adress the question to an officer..im not sure what if anything i sould do.

im still more inclined to believe the initial talk from the streets...something has to happen to somebody...im just hoping that whatever happens...happens to the right somebody.

in short i say no...but...if suddenly my picture were everywhere id definately turn myself in...could i brow beat a 15 year old into confession??? probably

two nights ago i posted that my nieghbor was murdered...shot in the back fleeing a robbery...word on the street immediately following the murder was that a certain individual was responsible for the shooting...name given...a familiar face in the french quarter...he happened to be a big white kid...yesterday fliers were passed around to all the local buisnesses...sketches of two black kids...also familiar faces...as of last night...one of the black kids surrendered to police and supposedly "confessed" to the shooting...and its possible that he was involved...it leaves questionable doubt in my mind...at least at this point...wondering if they got a scared kid to admit to something he didnt do...whether the initial street talk was correct...the black kids in question could have easily been in the nieghborhood and fled from the scene when they heard shots...it just seems odd to me that it went from a big white guy to two black kids...i guess thats why im not a cop...idda been lookin for a big white guy.

center of the french quarter bad nieghborhood???...this happened litterally around the corner from brad pitt and angelina jolies house...its bad people coming to a good nieghborhood...a nieghborhood where the median rent is about $1100.00 a month for a one bedroom place.

the worst part of this senseless act is that the lady was running away after getting robbed and got shot in the back...kinda makes me sick...today in new orleans there is a sense of people wanting to take back the streets...most shop owners are talking about arming themselves...the flowers continue to pile up at the memorial placed in front the place she worked...there is a huge sense of loss within this tightly knit community...so far the killer remains at large and everybody is on edge.

well its gotten to the point my shop will be armed...ill be getting a gun today.

it really sucks when your nieghbors are gunned down at 8 oclock in the evening....its not like it was even a late night drunken brawl.

im right in the french quarter...the biggest tourist area in new orleans...the world seems to be gettin scarier by the day.

a couple of weeks ago my shop was robbed...last night...one of my tools was stolen from the shop...then this morning i find out that my nieghbor (right next door) was shot and killed in a robbery...makes my issues seem small...people suck.
