Why do men think they have to have more than one woman to make them happy??

Not ALL men think that... but the ones that do are insecure and need validation that they are desirable.

The same can be said about women...well, not exactly the same thing... I guess in some cases it applies...but...what was I saying???

Yes, but women are also predisposed to select the strongest male with whom to propogate. Through socialization both males and females have conciously made the choice of monogomy.

Your theory would have women throwing aside their man to bear children by a "better" male in order to sustain the species.

Women are always selective in their process of mating with the (strongest, best looking, etc) man regardless of any socialization, even Cosmo tell them subconciously to look for a Tom Cruz or Sean Connery! flowerforyou

I agree. But do they consistently seek Tom or Sean to father their children outside of their committed relationship?

Perhap's, it depend's on the moral's that your parent's instilled in your developing year's. If you never got them then, you have no guideline's to live by.

I find it funny how these morals you speak of, only appear after a certain age later on in the life of a woman
