I agree. But do they consistently seek Tom or Sean to father their children outside of their committed relationship? I find it funny how these morals you speak of, only appear after a certain age later on in the life of a woman  then let's toss this arguement out of the window, if morals were instilled in us then we wont make any mistakes because we listened to our parents. |

strip away everything else, men sole job in nature is to populate and plant their seed whenever the opportunity arise!  Yes, but women are also predisposed to select the strongest male with whom to propogate. Through socialization both males and females have conciously made the choice of monogomy. Your theory would have women throwing aside their man to bear children by a "better" male in order to sustain the species. Women are always selective in their process of mating with the (strongest, best looking, etc) man regardless of any socialization, even Cosmo tell them subconciously to look for a Tom Cruz or Sean Connery! ....And what exactly is wrong with Sean Connery

Well my opinion if it be male/female that feels as if they need more then one it is due to the one that thinks that is not spending enough time with the one they are in fact with. Therefore they are not receiving what they seek if you don't satisfy the one your with ya think they will in fact satisfy you in return?
