Why is it that muso's get all pernicky about their voices when there's flu's and colds around???? No idea, you would have to ask them.  But I would find it funny if a guitarist was screaming: 'My voice, my voice, mind my voice, go away with that awful bug!!!!!' And then you find out they have no singing voice to begin with.  unfortunately he does have one, that people seem to like... Sorry I left you all alone... I got distracted by Sommers soliloquy... Yeah, and a great one at that. I'll miss her, but I'm glad she made the right choice. Back to topic: Yes, I am alone, and glad that I am.

Nope. I have one sick 14 year old with tonsilitis, one sick 12 year old with the beginnings of the cold we had, and an exit stage left from the 'house of lurgy' 20 year old and a 48 year old... chickens! Poor you.  Nah...I don't have tonsilitis, or the moany whingy fevers and puky belly...(that was yesterday) I just didn't manage to get out the door fast enough.... Must be a case of not gaining momentum fast enough then.  Bwah hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!! yeah the mountainous butt got in the way!!!!!!!!! At least you couldn't overshoot the runway, now, could you? *hack!* *cough!* Splutter!* Hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need new landing lights.... For a moment I was thinking new keyboard though, or at least fresh wipes for the monitor.

I want to learn to be 'Is that so?"... Would that not mean to remove your inner self from the outside world to a certain extent? Can we really do this in a busy life where we go to work, get in touch with new people all the time? Would that not that make us a hermit of sorts if we don't care about the outer world anymore? At this time, I am here for good friends & conversation. I make no attempt to hide my feelings for Gwen. I wear my love for all to see; on my chest. I have mixed feelings/thoughts on basicly telling a lady, she has to settle for #2, in my heart. Is that fair? (feel free to comment) Also, I have some past business problems, financially. Would not be fair to impose my problems on anyone else. Terry, you didn't answer your own question. Marie, we have met, this lady drove 3 hrs to meet me in an airport, chat for 2-3 hrs & drive home. Wonderful lady, being big all my life, I understand her statements. Shallow people are total AZZZ"S. MARIE: FANTASTIC lady. Well, I don't know. I suppose we all have to take our time to get over things. But there will come a time when it is right to let go, and then, only then, will we be able to do so. Until such a time comes the memories of the good times we had will keep us going. This, of course, is only my personal opinion on this, for others it might be different. I can't know this because I have not experienced it. Personally, I'm here for friends. I'm not actively looking for a relationship. This might be because I'm not ready for one yet, and since this is a mainly American site, there would be a fat chance to find the one anyway as an LDR seems to me quite difficult. If he should come along by chance, well, then I would have to regroup my troops, and take it from there. |
