I just don't understand why someone would get into a situation where they would deliberately hurt someone else!!??? I was about to say that 'old school' is the best but I would imagine that this could be misunderstood, given that the past was not necessarily better.

By 'old school' I mean that a man MUST show utmost respect to a woman. This include behaving in the 'traditional' role...do not take money from the woman, treat her as she is the only other person existing in the world, protect her and show her just how much she means to him.

I apologise if this cones across as 'the weak female needing to be rescued by the strong male', but honestly this is not what I meant.
