Been speaking to a guy we got on really well I thought he was different then I saw a few red flags appearing but I thought maybe it's me because I have been lied to online many times then boom that horrible question appeared from him and that's it.
I worry because this keeps happening will I ever trust online again. I don't want them to beat me but it does get frustrating and hurtful x

The main thing I've learned about online versus so-called real life, is that they are exactly the same, save that we have to use different senses to tell what's going on, and that everything happens in a different order.

In "real life," assuming you can see hear and smell, when you meet a new person, you get a near instant batch of information that you DON'T get online.

In "real life," you have to wait to get to know the personality until AFTER your senses may have driven you to want either to run the other way, or to leap into bed with the other person. So by the time you realize the lust of your life is closer to being a psychotic beast than a true love, you might have done any number of things with them which you regret.

Online, you can develop an intellectual, idealized sort of crush on someone, either from their words, or from whatever photos they choose to let you see of what might be them. When you actually meet, this can lead either to instant disappointment, or to a similar set of mistakes as you can have in "real life."

Either way, the key is to realize that we are ALWAYS most in danger of fooling OURSELVES, before the other person fools us.

I think it's just part of being finite human beings. In the nature of the beasts we are, so to speak.

Accept that we will make mistakes in order to learn, and keep trying, is therefore my approach.

There are many good men out there who have absolutely no need for your money. But it is frustrating to think you are talking to one only to find out you are not.
.
Don't loss faith in men. You will find Mr. right

That's what I don't want to do tarnish every guy like that but it does make you feel more and more insecure with online dating x

Smiley, I can tell it bugs you. You should get to know the person over a long period of time. Don't be in a rush, take your time. Join the forums. You'll see and know who's real. Hope you feel better. Ciao.

no one is poo free.....every man or woman will have a red flag or two.....its what you really can not tolerate. talk to him and voice your concerns you never have anything to lose when your in search of his true self.....good luck...   P.S' one big problem most women have is ''ASKING FOR WHAT THEY REALLY WANT AND NEED''

Just wait till after the full moon ... this full moon with lunar eclipse is all about relationships and is stirring up blocked/hidden feelings and emotions etc (the latter esp on the 23rd -> lunar eclipse, 12.02 pm your time).
So whether you've recently been disappointed in dating or not, this is not a really favourable time to be jumping for joy, lol
