I guess its just
if church hospitals arent mandated to perform abortions, women should not be mandated to undergo pre abortion invasive procedures,,,, that word 'mandate' always causes controversy,, where as 'option' is much more reasonable |

I don't understand what the big deal is about gay marraige? equating homosexual relationships with heterosexual ones, having the government sanction such activity is the issue |

You know what the irony is,if they make it illegal you'll actually see this in real life, only a clothes hanger will be stuck in it. why? I have more faith than that in women,, and I still believe it would have no bearing on how often I would personally have to 'see' such an image,,, I dont believe its 'reality' at all. I believe some women may resort to such extremes, but I think most are either better educated or just plain not willing to risk such an experiment on their own body its just as likely that more women will be more cautious BEFORE they get pregenant so they wont be at that point in the first place,,,, but there is no way to measure which 'reality' is more likely,,,, I think you're fooling yourself. I'm old enough to remember when Roe v. Wade was decided, and the photos shown around at that time were of women who had died from botched abortions. Some of them were the coathanger type, some were from quacks the women had resorted to in despair. Making all abortions illegal again will bring back this kind of butchery. It has nothing to do with educational level or "risking an experiment." There will always be a certain percentage of women who feel absolutely incapable of going through with a pregnancy. It's exactly the same kind of thinking as saying that refusing sex education will keep teenagers from having sex. Nothing will stop people from being human and making mistakes that they can't come back from. And no, this doesn't mean I'm "in favor of abortions." I just think we have to be realistic. Im not speaking about making abortion illegal, Im speaking only of certain prerequisites to abortion as to the reality of botched abortion, I do think education makes a HUGE difference,,,I think during roe vs wade period it was still stigmatized to have pre marital sex, or be pregnant outside of marriage,, all contributing to the pressure to not have a baby,, these stigmas no longer exist, so those times are not quite as relevant to modern times I see no reason to believe women will be any more likely to day to perform a botched abortion than they will be to use better precautions before they become pregnant |

The one who cares the least controls the relationship up to the point that the one that cared the most walks away and finds someone that is not looking to use feelings as a tool and or weapon! That is usually the point at which the one that cared the least realizes that they now care the most and the person that cared the most doesn't give a crap any more! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Do I stay so she has a family or is it better to leave even if things have a chance to get better? I never had my real dad and I can't imagine taking my baby girls out of her life just because I don't feel love. Anyone in the same situation? <3 not enough information here happiness is not a constant or tangible thing, we will be happy at times and unhappy at others regardless of our relationship status I have been in an unhealthy relationship which I didnt want to be the pattern for my childs perspective of what is 'normal', we worked on it until one refused to work on it anymore and we went our seperate ways I have been both the one who was tired of working on it and the one who was still willing to work on it,, the one I left, still remained a part of his childs life, and I wouldnt have it any other way because he is a great father and I wouldnt remove a father from a childs life for ANY reason except that he was abusive towards them if you stay and work on it,, great, if you leave, it doesnt mean that your child will not have a father anymore,,, parents and spouses have seperate roles,,,, ,,just a thought |

It was an attempt at some light-hearted humor, but it has clearly fallen flat, and now I'm forever labeled "creepy cares-too-much-about-dog,-thinks-its-a-human-child guy". Oh well. Dinky will always be happy to see me. lol,, not at all It may have just gone over my head,,,seemed like it was something a pet owner would ask their vet about,, you arent creepy at all, its great to love our pets,,, |

I have a feeling if this had been the other way around and it had been a liberal walking around, showing children pictures of something the conservatives didn't think were appropriate, those conservatives would be throwing a fit. you have a point,,,not sure where I fall on the conserv-lib line, but there are many things I dont wish others to expose my kids too,,,however honest or factual they may be I am pro life, but I think such a display is irresponsible in a place where children frequent,,, |

as far as I know,, the laws of the land come FIRST
any religious practice that doesnt conflict with THE LAW,, is basically a right child molestation, assault, murder,,etc,, are against the law any such religious practice would/should also be,,, wearing a certain article of clothing is not against any law, and therefore would/should be a right,,, |

I think the one given the most control, controls the relationship some people do give control to those who dont really care others dont,,, How does one give control to somebody else? by allowing that persons wants, desires, actions, beliefs, to dictate their own,,,,, |

Attraction
|

This one is for the ladies, how important are physical looks to you, at my place of employment, where there are a lot of single woman, I hear this quite often, there are many forms of attraction, physical looks being not the most important to a woman. Now I don't consider myself the best looking guy around, however I am told that I carry myself very well, I think a big part of attraction is confidence in one's self, another compliment I receive quite often in my manner of dress, I have always tried to look my best when out in public, I am not the type of male that you see in the store that is dressed liked a teenager, and I guess I should mention hygiene, really guy's we need to clean ourselves daily, I have also noticed that woman have a much higher sense of smell than a man, smell can also be a big part of attraction. So what I am asking you ladies, what do you find most attractive in a man. you hit the nail on the head in cyber world, the first thing most see and therefore 'judge' is the picture, the physical appearance in real life though, when we are actually interacting with bodies, confidence can pretty much create or kill attraction the moat average physical entity can be the sexiest thing in the world when they are confident and carrying themself with integrity, respect for others, and self respect the sexiest physical entity can turn away alot of people if they carry themself with excessive uncertainty |

Too complicated

I wanna know if this was too biotchy of me. I stopped seeing someone because his life was just too freaking complicated. I felt like I needed a copy of Soap Opera digest to keep up with his information. I kept thinking "this dude is a scammer" and he would send proof over and over that he wasn't but I was like "Dude, I can't follow the story line". I mean so he's not a scammer, so what? Is it unreasonable of me to just want someone who is just an average person with an average life and nothing complicated to keep track of? Like the a guy named Joe or something who manages a hardware store and has a dog named Alf or something that easy??? not at all,, people have different emotional needs some need to feel needed to the point of preferring very 'clingy' personalities over independent ones some dont some feel a need to be excited and entertained to the point of preferring those with more drama as opposed to less,,, ,,,its preference, I think theres nothing wrong with it, when it comes to peoples 'lifestyles'( a bit difference if based on things that arent a choice, like race or gender) |

me: very reserved, not very emotional(except always smiling),
a hard 'read' for those that are used to playing the game,,,so to speak |
