Actually, there's a bit of mathematics involved with this, in a way.

Notice that the complaint is about "why most guys are aggressive."

It's important to recognize the dynamics and the structure of things, I think.

In this case, the biggest reason why it appears to you that MOST men behave aggressively, is that you are waiting for men to initiate.

Initiation requires aggressiveness.

Ergo, if you aren't aggressive yourself, the majority of the people who you interact with will be the aggressive ones, making it APPEAR that a majority of men are that way. The less aggressive ones will be invisible to you.

And then there's the venue. Go into a bar famous for people "hooking up," and you are more likely to be approached by men wanting to "hook up," than you would be, say, at a library.
