What makes a mechanic?

I work on my own cars.....have for years....
am I a "mechanic"?.......not really I know little about the new electronics of cars today. Can I tear down and rebuild a carburated motor? yes. I am a certified Motorcycle mechanic and have had my own bike shop. but thats a little different. |

Dropdead dont keep me warm, make me laugh, have meaningful conversation. Not to say It cant, but more times than not, Dropdead is kinda ......dull There is so much more to compatability than looks. JMO |
