So, a hundred years ago, I had a first date with
Bill. He asked me if I bowled, I said not yet,
so he looked very confident.

Once I got the point, and quit with the gutterballs
I did good enough to beat him. He was not happy.

Next time he calls he asks if I played tennis,
again, not so much..but I am very athletic and
a quick learner and soon beat him there, too.

For the third date he asks if I play chess, and I
said, well, yes, a little (only with my father
who would no longer play with me, hahaha.)

You guessed it..had him at my mercy in minutes..I
mean I felt bad but I am not the kind of person
who "lets" another win..it is fair and square
or not at all.

Needless to say, he dumped me...I was ever so grateful.

I cannot even imagine living with someone
who wishes you would fail so they can
feel superior.

computer was invented..just a note here in case
anyone is interested..in the early days we shared
a mainframe with other companies to use (much
like the net today) only we interfaced with
teletype machines, before the pc ;-)
