You know, Gardenforge, there's such a thing as cause and effect.
Wishing other peoples children blown up might not bode well for
yours. Nor will killing large numbers of people make you any safer - quite the contrary. People generally take a dim view of being killed and they have relatives who're often revenge minded.
Iraq did'nt attack us on 911 (nor, for that matter did Afghanistan), so what makes you think large swaths of their civilian population should be killed? And don't say: "Saddam", because we support worse dictators than him all the time.

I should think that, given the fact that Iraq is dusted with thousands of tons of "depleted" uranium from both invasions,
causing massive spikes in cancer and birth defects and it's tendency to sink 6ft. into the sand and stay lethal for FOUR AND A HALF BILLION YEARS, we'd only be to happy to leave, as one only need inhale a single tiny particle to do the damage.
Not to mention Gulf War Illness - Many thousands are sick or dying from the '91 invasion. How conveniant that the govt.
claims it somehow missplaced 750,000 medical records...civil war..
Yes, I think we can all pat ourselves on the back for being so kind with our humanitarian nation building aid - I'm sure the Iraqis couldnt be more greatful to us and will surely ask us back to visit again, real soon.

Yeah, right -
- Don't anyone "threaten" Bush's bringing of "stability" and "humanitarian aid" to Iraq.. Let's see.. between both Bush's and
Clinton, we must have humanitarianly aided almost two million
of their civilians to death.

Philosopher -
Do you really think the subjects of empire are given deals
"beneficial to both parties"? Mossedegh was killed 'cause he
tried to nationalise his countries own rescources because the
U.S., England and France were stealing all the oil revenue.
We DON'T have the right to anyone else's rescources without their permission. That's where the bribing and bullying comes in.
Should another country take OUR rescources by force, since natural rescources are part of world commerce? Read: "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" or send me an adress to send you a copy of
"The Revolution Will Not be Televised".
These "developing" nations are always offered sh*t sandwiches
at the negotiation table; You just don't hear about it 'cause
guess who controls our media... Go to my profile, email me and I'll send you a dvd or two - I'd be curiuos to hear your feedback..

...and freedom's a well armed lamb, Philosopher!
In the first place, of course it's always about wealth and power
- so much so, that it's pretty much already been a one world govt. for a long time; CFR, Trilateral Comm., Bildeberg Group.. Most of the world's leaders are bullied or bought by financier families/cartels - check out a 1945 book- "Empire of the City: The Jekyll & Hyde nature of the British Govt." And it's mostly the poor who do the fighting as soldiers and dying as civilians, invariably to make some super rich gangsters even richer. The poor are redundant and expendable to these people.
And no matter what you think of Chavez, he has genuine support of the poor and supports them back. He nationalised their own commodity and gives the citizens a cut - the same thing we killed
Mossedegh in Iran in '53 for - He would'nt bow down to Bush and there's too much oil there, so the U.S. tried a coup and failed -
it's all caught on video!

being CREATED BY WALL ST.?? - What do you make of that?)

"Knee-jerk" reaction? - Communism, capitalism, socialism..
- They're all ant-hill societies, run by corporate finance gangsters, at the expense of the civilian population.
These are bloated, parasitic "governments" who serve the same masters in the end - and it's not you and me.
Most Americans can wave a flag like a monkey but would'nt
know true democracy if it jumped up and bit them on the ass!
They think patriotism is blind obedience to the state!
If we were'nt such a nation of cretins, we would'nt BE
in the position of most hated country now!

..It's never been about left/right, liberal/conservative -
It's about the rights of the individual vs. the state -
-Guess who's winning?!
This past week in El Salvadore, people peacefully protesting
privatisation were arrested and charged as TERRORISTS. They're getting hefty prison sentences. I personally know a guy who's
on a "no-fly" list - His only crime was attending a peaceful
anti-Bush rally.
So - If you peacefully disagree, you're a "terrorist".
You must be terribly proud to live in such a beacon for "freedom".
By the way - do you realise the root of the word "liberal" is "freedom"?
Since when do you equate it with bullying?

Rambill, it's YOU who does'nt "see the big picture"-
Wall st. funded the communist revolution! Some of the elite troops were trained in N.J.! And you think we should have military men rule this nation - men who're trained to shut up and follow
other people's orders instead of thinking for themselves!
Only feeble minded fraidy cats fall for such transparent protection rackets.

..Right, knoxman -
There's collaborators with any occupation - people who lick the boots of the occupiers for personal gain - anything that happens in the green zone by decree is NOT the will of the Iraqi people,
(though I daresay many Iraqis despised Saddam - but remember -
"We" put him in power, funded and armed him and condoned and gave
"our"blessing for his decades of murderous rule..)
Surely, by whatever Saddam was guilty of, Bush and Cheney are at LEAST as guilty, and if "justice" is to be blind, and murdering
murderers makes you happy, then you must support hanging them, too.

There HAS been evidence that pot's been causing symptoms of psychosis - but more from the residue of chemical fertilisers
and growth stimulants by inexperienced or greedy growers
and yes - some drug their weed to make it seem stronger.
(kind of like how our food is being poisoned..)

Wake up.
This administration is a CULMINATION - not an ABERRATION.
Without exception, EVERY conflict America's ever been in was
based on lies and false-flag operations to manipulate public opinion to support wars that only profit bankers and oil and arms dealers.
Most Americans are nice but dim and think war is some righteous
football beat-back-the-dragon game, with us as the righteous Dudley Dorights, simplistically fighting "evildoers" - (bogie men), when the reality is we've killed more innocent civilians
(8 million since 1945) than Hitler has.
How can our sevicemen be so CLUELESS?
ALL administrations here have been war criminals! The Bush administration differs only in it's inability to be subtle.

Yes, and America has it's share of political prisoners (Even BEFORE 911 - remember Cointelpro?) - and we've killed more civilians - (about 8 million) than Hitler, since the end of WW2.
We're more opressed here than in some overt totalitarian countries - we're just too stupid and proud to realise it.

Hey, Barbiesbigsister -
What an unusual "God" you have - that he likes one country more than another - and favours the military! You must feel very special.
How many Iraqis do you suppose are greatful for our "help"
now that there's thousands of tons of "depleted" uranium contaminating the country with radiation for the next four BILLION years? - 'Ever see a baby mutated by radiation?
Do you even care that the majority of the war's victims are women
and children, not nasty "evildoers"? How can you fall for such a transparent protection racket?

Hey, Barbiesbigsister -
If I were you, I'd re-examine your "memory" - Those were'nt
Iraqis on those planes - They were'nt even Afghani - They were
SAUDIs, our dictatorial "allies"!
