Loved the write but must ask... If what you seek is something of value, how can a price be placed upon it. Is it not justified by our willingness to obtain what we seek? Then again, if we feel the price too high, is it worth it in the beginning or the end? Just pondering for my own clarity as it seems more about justification rather than desire. Am I correct? Now this makes me think... tyvm.  idk if the cost is always worth the reward. Even if the price seems high at the start, there's that secondary reward of experience. The pain... well, that's a personal relativistic thingie, huh? I'll let each set their own price on experiencing that. And then that's old-school belief that realations with others... the others, themselves... are always worth our time and energy. (We all deserve the attention of another human being, no? Or perhaps that's just guilt talking?) A long way of clarifying that I need more time to think on this. haha. But a question? "justified by our willingness to obtain"? Is that another way of giving the road to "the ends justify the means"? "Law of the Jungle"? I'm seem to doubt it coming from you... could you clarify? Does or willingness to persue love give us justification to hurt... ourselves and/or other? |

Like clothing, hairstyles, make-up, etc. I think tattoos are an expression of your own personality. As for an entire sleeve....it would have to be personal opinion on the "love it" or "hate it". If done well, and the images were meaningful and fit the subjects personality, it could very well be "beautiful" and enhance her personal style. However those same tattoos...as one man pointed out...could distract from the woman's natural beauty...especially as you grow older. I don't know about you, but I am nothing like I was when I was younger...tastes change, self-image changes, likes and dislikes change....but you're stuck with tattoos. Well said. |
