That's not a bad luck. That is called, being wise.

Never settle for less as they say. How will you meet the best if you are contented with chatting to only one.

It's ok to chat with many when you are searching and selecting but when you found your girl, you have to be faithful and you need to stop chatting others (for the puropose of making them more than a friend, dating, flirting or doing something unethical). But you can still make others as your friend.

I think that emotional compatibility is not based on biological age alone, although it is a better indicator than most other things.

If a man and woman are compatible and 'grown' age difference really shouldn't matter. It matters to me because I have children and a potential mate would be a potential stepfather, so the difference in their age and my child is important.

Otherwise, younger man/older woman, or younger woman/older man ... if they are compatible ,, I say go for it.
