On a mystic night that was terrifyingly profound
While I sat in the darkness with none around.
As the howling winds whispered with a lullaby sound
I felt your lost soul lurking in the background.

Wild thoughts in my head began to race
In my darkness, I craved the bliss of your grace.
Desperately, I yearned to see your beautiful face
Anxiously! I wanted to feel the warmth of your embrace.

As my imagination escaped my life's logical shore
I envisioned the times we shared before.
With my hopeful heart as I opened the door
I was greeted by pain, loneliness & nothing more.

Even tonight as my horrifying hallucination begins to fly
Tears of blood stream down from my eye.
Bitterly I weep, madly I cry
As helplessly I see your illusion burn & die.

But neither the devil below nor the God sitting above
None can corupt the purity of our love.
My heart breathes the name of our immortal love
& my lost soul shall find you my darling dove.

Perhaps wandering beyond the boundaries of day & night
Surpassing the arguments of wrong & right.
Overcoming the feeling of agony & delight
Someday, my love, our lost souls will again unite.

Yea I tried to create alliteration with the satanic spell & by doing so wanted to portray the manipulator as an embodiment of an evil figure, but I respect your feedback. Thank you for your readership, the honesty & the kindness of your feedback.

Reminiscent, I recall the times we had
When I felt, your comforting hands.
When your eyes, shined with love for me
When your love, was deeper than the sea.

When it seemed you completed my life
When I regarded you as my paradise.
But, blinded in love, I didn’t realize
That even you, had a wicked side.

I still remember, that disturbing day
That day… when you drew away.
Shattered, my life was in a disarray
Coldly, we parted, on our separate ways.

I miss, your comforting hands
But, you need space, I understand.
I aspire, that love in your eyes
But, I guess all that was lies.

Even Adam, wouldn’t have cried
on being banished, from the paradise.
The way, tears of blood, I cried
Upon loosing you… My paradise.

You left me, with my fears
You gifted my eyes, many tears.
Still I hope, you smile for years
For I value, your smile more than my tears.

You tricked me, in your satanic spell
Yet for your future, I wish you well.
For I can’t hate you, my darling dove
Even if, I get destroyed in your love.

Walking outside on a depressing day
Carrying my broken hopes in disarray.
Under the sky that was ominously grey
I sensed a storm was on it’s way.

As my feet were turning back in retreat
I saw a peacock walking in-front of me.
Seeing the graceful bird was a visual treat
I stood there as my heart melted in ecstasy.

The peacock looked at the sky
There was a thrill in the peacock’s eye.
In rain, peacock opened it’s colorful feathers
Peacock’s grace bloomed in the hostile weather.

Rain’s wrath tried to intimidate the bird
But rain’s rage was what the bird preferred.
To the rain’s beat the peacock danced
With the raging rain the peacock romanced.

Gradually the weather started to transform
Peacock’s grace had conquered the storm.
Peacock gloriously glittered & glowed
& out of the darkness came a rainbow.

Mystically to me the peacock explained
That confronting life’s storm our hopes break.
But every storm does run out of rain
& with time our pain does fade away.

In life’s storm we mustn’t retreat or cry
we mustn’t wait for the storm to pass-by.
Instead we must dance in the eye of storm
With fortitude we should beautifully transform.

Even if the storm is menacingly dark
We must possess a hopeful heart.
So that like the peacock, we too glow
& amidst life’s darkness create a rainbow.

None knew, his traumatic troubles
None understood, his emotional struggles.
For he was a cold lone heart
A pale ignored loner, from the start.

She was an angel from the sky
Her beauty was a treat for every eye.
She glided like a beautiful butterfly
From her blazing aura, surroundings got purified.

It was a fairytale night
The angel’s beauty was in its prime.
Angel dazzled, in the loner’s eye
Lost in the moment, he was mesmerized.

Violins played, cupids playfully conspired
Seeing her, his heart conceived love’s fire.
To melt in her soul, was his desire
To be her’s, is what he aspired.

Loner never had love, he was deprived
So he was hesitant & awkwardly shy.
Angel sensed purity, in loner’s teary eyes
Warmly, she hugged him, the loner smiled.

Their bond, wasn’t a one night affair
Their feelings, never died in thin air.
For each other’s smile, they mutually cared
Their bond, was majestically rare.

Their flame of love, remained the same
Passion, still runs wild in their veins.
Their hearts still breathe, each other’s name
For they are, each other’s twin flame.

Forgive, but never forget. True friends/family you will know them by their actions.
Sad poem,I hope you find kinder people to enjoy life with soon.
Sad reality is better than a happy illusion, because its not fake. Truly grateful for your concern, life has been a bit tough for me but I've learnt to celebrate my sadness by decorating my darkness in the form of my rhymes. Thank you so much taking out the time to go through my poem.

Great Poem Sidharth!

I love the duality of the subject.... tortured yet becoming free! Most moving and memorable...Please continue...This is food for the soul.

Your friend
Rob
Thanks Rob glad you liked the dual nature of my writings.. Most of my poems do start on a dark note ( because I believe that if the emotions are true and raw then something splendid can be crafted out of our darkness) and end on a positive / hope note. Thank you for your readership and support .

Will they....forever miss? Been a few years, but they are all gone. I have the power and their drama is all gone.
Totally relate. Thanks for sharing.
whether they shall miss it forever or not depends on whether or not you serve your heart out to them to feast on... So guess that does depend on person to person. Thank you for your readership. I'm glad you could relate with my poem.
