Thank you for the reply and the observation. You're right - I mention some things in the first line & then it's all me me me! I guess subconsciously I was expecting that 'the right sort' of guy would read all that and "know" if they were the sort I was looking for, but it couldn't hurt to mention that I like masculine men, body hair, sense of humour, literacy..... and all that!

I was widowed 10 years ago when my wonderful man was taken from me by cancer. I'm kind of reserved and a home-body who doesn't go out much; I dislike crowds, noise & I don't drink. So that keeps me out of the bars and away from concerts, and means I don't meet a lot of new people.

It's been 10 long years, and somehow I have neither found anyone and no one has yet found me. So I 'broke down' and am trying out a dating site. Have a look at my profile and talk to me if you like. I'm a bit of an oddball, but a nice one.

Looking most to meet people locally, but I have cyber-friends in a number of places around the world and don't object to maybe having a few more.
