the old cliche 'treat others as youd like to be treated' In general it is true. At the same time it happens often that when one is too good to others,they try to exploit assuming it as one's weak point.So we should be a little bit careful.(In my opinion.)

In chess once you give check-mate the game is over. Its like knock out punch of a boxer. It doesn't matter who is having better position or who is having more points. In practical life, how do you check mate others? How do you get check mated by others? If it is someone I don't really care about, I employ a dead malice attack and make the person look like a fool to others around us. If it is someone I really care for, I apply the "a dose of your own meds" approach... partly to give them a lesson and help them change their ways or to get the pain out of my system... then that's it, game over! I no longer get check mated by others coz I just don't let it happen.

In practical life, how do you check mate others? How do you get check mated by others? Yep, when someone check mates me; it is over. I care about myself way to much to put up with anyone's crap; especially when it comes to romance. I keep my heart well protected and don't let anyone check mate me anymore. Sounds confident and it is good. I was taught confidence is good but not over confidence.

The unfortunate reality is that there do come times when you gotta put people in check. I do it through personality. You put thier eyes to thier feet....then they capitulate. There is no need to constantly ride someone down....usually once is enough. Diplomacy is a very useful implement. Here is a man with high personality and high morality. (without high morality personality does no good: in my opinion) |

I don't "check mate" others. If they are too much to handle, I walk away. I try and surround myself with happy, kind people. Mean people suck and I will stay as far from them as I possibly can. Generally a good tactics but doesn't work all the time. As it is said 'Offence is the best defence'. When someone tries to check mate you without any proper reason, I think it is better to counter attack. Simply running away won't solve the problem always.

I dont like games much....lol I usually resort to a few 'ok' nods and then change or leave the topic alone I cant stand circular arguments with no real point or end in sight,,, Sometimes it may be required to prove yourself and you can't avoid the matter by simply leaving. The basic weapons to counter attack are honesty,logical argument and strong morality.(In my view;at least it works for me.) |
