I would say the Military spouse is a partner for sure , she or he might not be on the battle field ( unless they were and retired) but I believe they should be considered serving as support staff.

Who do you think mows the lawns , shovels the snow especially if she pregnant as the husband is deployed?

Who do you think sits on the other end of the phone, or emails to raise the spirit of the deployed soldier .

Who do you think holds the family together during holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, kids graduation when the spouse is deployed.

And when they relocate from base to base or country to country who is doing all the planning, moving, packing and unpacking etc.

The spouse, so yeah they do serve but in a different way a strong partnership, motherhood and fatherhood is difficult enough , try keeping family together when one of them is deployed.

anyways my two cents.

I remember when reading comprehension tests that evaluated ability to understand context were one of the basics of education. Why does it seem like it is a skill that has been left to wane in the past few decades? msharmony

Obviously, we are all entitled to our opinion. If that is your moral and core value, then I would expect you to refrain from a sexual relationship outside of marriage or near marriage. Yes, society or the members of it have forced monogamy on others. It is an expectation for many to participate in a sex life. You may be right about being with the right partner; based on the failed/dysfunctional marriages, very few have found the right partner.oldkid46

I actually dont sleep around , I haven't been with anyone since my last relationship a year and bit ago, plenty of dates, and plenty of opportunities but at this stage of my life Im looking for more than fun.

and Im looking for someone with the same values.

I know people who are with the right partner and its a great relationship and Ive seen people that are going through the motions, I dont want to be one of those again, been there , done that and got the divorce papers to show.

I look at my parents, grandparents, my sister and her hubby, my two best friends and a couple of colleagues and I want what they have .

I do believe people can be monogamous with the right partner and people who are monogamous by nature, too many people find substitutes and compromise and then get married or attached and then wonders why when things go south one of them strays.

Lol, I don't know chairman. I guess you could always message him and ask. I'd do it quickly though because he'll probably get deactivated.

you americans have it made, one american dollar equals 68 rupees

and one canadian dollar equals 52 rupees

If he is charging women 100 rupees a minute, Canadian women are getting ripped off.

damn.

Id ask him but it may cost me 15 rupees for him to respond , I just dont have the rupees now,the exchange stores are closed .

Im guessing he is charging women and girls for hurry up sex?

Is he accepting American dollars or rupees?

Im guessing the Canadian dollar isnt worth much, and how time is hurry up sex?

is he charging by the minute?

WHAT does where he made the money have to do with accepting half a mill salary or not or if he was responsible with his investments enough to avoid chapter 11 bankruptcies? msharmony

You were the one comparing his net worth to salary, not me

I just corrected you in telling you that you cannot compare someone's net worth to what they earned.

I gave you Warren Buffet as an example.

You asked how many billionaires went bankrupt and I replied A few billionaires went personally bankrupt not corporate bankrupt.

YOu mentioned asking where the money is coming from and I replied there is no comparison or point.

Just like I said We don't know how liquid Trump is, or what he actually earned because he wont release his tax returns and even I have an issue with that.

Agree... The most killings in the states are Americans killing Americans.
Unfortunately hate is the easiest feeling to create in humans. It takes very little effort, especially when the lack of jobs and security becomes a reality. VonSchulten

Except that no one is talking about Americans killing Americans, they are talking the gangs made up of illegal immigrants who killed some americans and their own people.
We have law enforcement to deal with the home grown criminals

Problem is, that it's the elite that creates the lack of jobs and low wages because of greed.
Funny how Trump himself, not only uses illegal immigrants to build his constructions because he can get them to work for no money....
and in several cases NOT even pay them, but also did move all his production of merchandise to china. VonSchulten

who are the elites??

I suspect you are talking about CEO's of large corporations.
Look, there job isnt to create jobs, its to create surplus value and value to their shareholders.

Jobs are created when the company has employees that create surplus value, their job isnt to put a dent in the employment numbers.

If politicians want a healthy functioning society, take the chains off of the entrepreneurs

That's the REAL reason why America is struggling today.
Because of the rich that are greedy, and doesn't have one effing inch of patriotism in their body. They're ruled by greed, not their love for their country.
The billionaires are to be blamed, not the poor of any race.
(Sorry, I kind of answered a bit of another post in this one. It has nothing to do with your statements... ) VonSchulten

Im sorry but that is a crock of beep, the real reason why America is struggling and before I go any further, who said America was struggling?

According to former President Barrack H.Obama and the left/democrats and democratic socialist, America recovered from the mess that Bush left for Obama, he was responsible for creating all these jobs.

So which is it ? is America struggling or prosperous?

Because society tries to force everyone into monogamy and that is not the preferred relationship that fits some people. Often when people are dating at a younger age, they date multiple people and have multiple sex partners. Society then expects them to change into a monogamist after they get married. Might work for awhile but it is not their natural inclination! oldkid46

Say whatttttttt?

No no no, I dont agree with that, Society hasnt forced me to accept monogamy , my moral or core values dictate to me that monogamy is a good thing for many reasons.

Those that have multiple sex partners shouldn't get married , because they will stray when the time comes.

Marriage is a sacred and beloved institution where two people under the right circumstance gets to share more than just love.

Multiple partners cant do that, because its mainly based on lust and eventually one gets tired and moves on and some people who have multiple sex partners are nasty people and I don't mean psychologically either.

I find that those with multiple sex partners after a while are not happy people there is more to life than just sex, although when youre with the right partner well there is nothing like it.

My opinion.

other Billionaires with the same presence in HUNDREDS of companies,

FOR CLARITY

I dont recall buying groceries and being asked the SOURCE for the money exchanged in the transaction.

so yeah, someone wealthy can be compared to someone wealthy with relevance to what the type of life they can afford to live and material and vital things they can afford to have. money is all green, whether it was from a check signed by mcdonalds owner or by Warner Brothers. msharmony

buying groceries and asking where the money is from, huh?

that makes no sense.

look, Find another person who made billions through real estate and owns hundreds of companies and then compare.

I cannot compare Bill Gates to Jeff Bazos or Bloomberg to Steve Forbes, just like I cannot compare Bill Clinton to Barrack Obama, heck you cant even compare George H.W Bush to George W.Bush and they are father and son.

Someone posted Trump owns five hundred companies, I referenced THEIR number, not private or public.

I know that of these 500 that are his excuse for 6 bankruptcies not being that much, they INCLUDE any company of which he is President, trustee, Chairman or MEMBER

so like I said, much like other Billionaires with the same presence in HUNDREDS of companies, and I would love a comparison to those billionaires regarding how often they file chapter 11s msharmony

First thing you cannot compare billionaires and how they made their money.
Bill Gates doesn't own as many companies like Warren Buffett.

Buffett made his money through ownership of companies, equities and such, Trump through Real estate development

Oprah through her production company and such, George Lucas through Star wars, Zuckerberg through Facebook, jeff Bazos through Amazon.

are you catching on yet?

Its like comparing Lebron James Salary to Cristiano Ronaldo salary, or Robert downey salary to Lada gaga's just because they are in the entertainment business and one of the highest paid entertainers.

what can I say , Im easily amused.

bias is natural, to some.

intelligent people tend to look at both side or how many sides exist and try to make informed decision vs making a decision on emotion.

no photo
Fri 07/20/18 02:55 PM
This is actually funny....

so context, bias , word choices used to convey bias is important now?

I could say the same thing when people are discussing and dissecting the 2nd amendment

funny how that works.

As I said, there are other billionaires in the US who 'own' (are members, chairmans or trustees of hundreds of companies) and Id love to see how common it is among them to file that many chapter 11s. msharmony

you just proved my point , if you don't know the difference between private and public companies then there is no point in continuing this dialogue as you've exhausted my good will.

I wouldn't think that it is common at all!

MOST people who are intelligent enough to MAKE IT to that level know not to back a bad investment...

unfortunately, trump didn't MAKE IT to that level.. shovelhead dave

Another one that suffers from alethephobia, sigh

he INHERITED his money,so he was BORN in to that level, which doesnt necessarily mean that he isn't smart, but in this case,he keeps making bad decisions because he doesn't think things through, and makes rash decisions, which have cost him SEVERELY,and caused him to continue to have to declare bankruptcy, and leave OTHER people holding the bag and pay the price for his bad decisions. shovelhead dave

I see a lot of snap, crackle but no pop, sounds like envy on your part,

You know why its called investment and risk? its not guarantee , people take risk, some wins and some don't.

If making billions was easy, then every powerball winner should be a billionaire today, but we know that isn't the case.

just ask any of the hundreds/thousands of people he has left stuck out,and in debt, after they foolishly invested in his ventures because they were not wise enough to see PAST his flashiness and see what he REALLY was. shovelhead dave

And none of this has to do with his presidency, this is just sour grapes, now. People greedy and stupid enough to pay all the that to see if they can become millionaires over night... yeah on this side of the isle we call that stupidity and greed.

and, chapter 11's are only a SMALL part of his failures...

just think about all of the people who have filed LAWSUITS against him, because of the things he has done, and the bad decisions that he has made that caused THEM to have to file bankruptcy, just because they invested in him/his ventures...

that means that he has had A LOT more failures than just the 11 times that HE has had to file bankruptcy!

THAT is why he has had to turn to foreign investors, such as the Russians, and China to find anyone that will still lend him money at this point.

but, unfortunately, since HE OWES these foreign investors, that means that HE OWES them, and they have leverage that hey can use against him. shovelhead dave

Again with the lies, its not 11 times it was six you know after five and before seven.

and so what he has to go to foreign investors, what is your point?

which is WHY it is so important that the publc be allowed o see his tax returns, sothey will know if he is in a position for any foreign power to manipulate him in any way!!

BUT,for SOME REASON,he is terrified to release his tax returns and let people see who could potentially have control over him??

I wonder why that is??
[no,i don't!!]
shovelhead dave

You obviously don't know how to read tax returns, a tax return wont tell us if he owns any foreign power money LMAO and who has control over him... too funny Dave.

Your personal disdain for Trump is now a problem, before it was an issue but its damn right scary now.

wow.

I may not be a fan of Trump the man, but Im not about to rag on the guy for his past behaviour or some of his business practices.

I care what he does in the White house and how to make America safer again so when Im confronted by violent leftists I know what I can or cannot do.
