Thanks guys! You have lifted my spirits more than you can imagine.

Just wrote this. Not my best but not bad for taking only 20 minutes. Keep in mind that I only write poems every once in a while. So try not to bash to hard.

I hope someday I can find the one.
That knows how to love me better than some.
I have been through heartache, and been broken down.
To this day I find it hard not to frown.
Will I ever find the one to be?
The one that will love me unconditionally.
I know what it’s like to have loved and lost.
Is the pain really worth letting my heart frost?
Can love be found in my life again.
Or am I stuck, just being the friend.
Where do I go and what do I do?
To find true love, and have a break through.
My heart is kind and my soul is strong.
Each day reassuring myself nothing is wrong.
You can beat me down but I’ll still get up.
Maybe next time I’ll think prenup.
You think you know them yet you hardly do.
Before you know it they take all you knew.
There has got to be someone who is better.
Someone as strong as I yet kind and tender.
Someday I’m sure I will find true love.
Someone equal to me like a well fit glove.
