India is the largest demoracy in the world !! One more term & he'll have slammed the door on democracy in India for good. Banning Muslim public worship is just the next step in branding Muslims as the "Others" so he can "justify" pacifying the streets. Same autocratic playbook. They all follow it because it works - until it doesn't - then comes the violent repression. Being the largest democracy, sometimes means having numerous and varried opinions on a scale the West cannot even imagine. That being said , no wishy washy leadership , Biden comes to mind, is going to succeed keeping the country together and viable.. And from reports I get from friends on location , the conditions are so far so good considering the conditions.. All countries small to medium in size have problems....imagine the Big ones ...!! |

Hey maybe if the Voter ID issue can be settled , we may not need to protest for No Kings!! By the way , all those rallies held over the weekend were just awesome ... So was there like a King the next day .....or does he have to be voted in....Man ! if I wanted to be a King I would just nominate myself.... Kings are not nominated, Slim, they are self made. The one which was protested against want to be one, not really a king but a dictator like Putin or Kim. That's what has to be prevented or democracy in the US is dead like it is in Russia and North Korea. If that is what you want, go for it! Aside from that, who would want to have a ruler that is mentally unstable, a racist, a child molester, a frequent creator of the alternative truth, aka lies? Actually , it was a No Kings rally I believe... And Kings as far as my knowledge goes, are generally titles handed down from generation to generation... the bloodline counts alot... As far as the President is concerned, I think the "King " remark he made was off the cuff and he was expressing a feeling...not to be confused with an intention. And I do belive he won the vote and so was made President... He may have the making of a Dictator or whatever, but I am certain good citizen like yourself and millions of others will prevent it....You all still have the means no!!! .. Until such time do the needful and co-operate with getting that Voter ID... |
