Kayaking on the other hand is fine but you have to know how to thread water or swim , in case you topple into the water....sketch situation ....life jackets helps , if you have one ... OT: going out to dance and enjoy a stress free Friday night at my local Legion !! A couple of drinks also help!!! |

the newer cars are good only for the fact, you can find out for yourself, using tools that plug in to your cars on board computer, whats wrong . Then tell them what to fix ....most times .. A career as a VP.....good for you ! Was that in Sears..?? Just staggering in for the fabulous , delish and well prepared brunch....had too much vodka to drink last night and woke up with a russian accent....what can I say.....think I will just get the pancakes this afternoon , a vodka and OJ and go see if there are naked mermaids out back in the hot tub....cheers :

I hear ya TG.. like no one else can know anything but them.. and they know EVERYthing about EVERY thing..  if they cud only see themselves thru other's eyes.. 
Slim.. people have to live.. yes it would be nice if others were considerate of everyone's needs but.. that's not the world we live in currently.. sadly.. the word of the times is "IT'S ALL ABOUT ME" so suck it up buttercup.. oh and.. ya don't have ta go to church ta pray dude.. he's everywhere.. you can even chat him up while on the loo however it may be WHAT you're asking for.. it's all about you no?? 
OT: being ignored when you find a solution cuz the "expert's ego" can't handle you discovered a solution that he didn't come up with While you may think He is everywhere....I go to His House....since its there ... Same as I would go a particular friends house, since I think I have friends everywhere...but I just wanna see this friend .... Knock and the door will be opened, seek and you will find , ask and it will be given to you (in due course I am guessing ).....but yeah ....thats how I roll!!! Another peeve is drivers making U-Turns anywhere they please and especially at busy intersections ...ignoring all posted signs .....retards ... |

arrrrg.. avast ye matey look out TG.. land HO bump.. fall
sorry.. I need a laugh about now.. well folks.. another week over and Friday coming to an end.. so I got an estimation on the price to fix my car.. *Zee hits the floor* yup.. the price of a newer one.. HOLY CHIT the transmission is gone.. so that's that.. only 105,000 km on that girl but.. her legs gave out.. and me just spent over $700 for 4 new winter tires.. so I've spent the afternoon and evening looking for a replacement.. an SUV that'll take my new tires cuz I ain't wasting THAT $$.. plus I'll have my mechanic syphon my gas.. not letting a full tank go to waste EITHER so.. this weekend will be making calls and trying to find a lift to go see newER vehicles..  FML.. thought she had a few more years in her but.. not at THAT price..
anywho.. gonna go cry in my pillow so have a good evening y'all
Only 105 on the clock...thats a virgin... I would just spend the cash for a new transmission and keep the car for a few more years ....or till u run it into the ground.... In total that replacement should only cost about 3 grand ......cheaper than a newer car .....also depends on make and model and the year??? she's a 2006 Pacifica.. so age is a factor.. but after doing research on the problem.. it sounds more like electrical instead of transmission.. seluloid.. apparently it's RARELY the trany so.. I sent him an article by email and will talk to him on monday.. something feels off about his diagnosis tho.. gut feeling but working perfectly tuesday then wednesday morning stuck in park? and why I did research.. I spent hours pouring over different articles too.. they all point to the same thing so.. we shall see on Monday.. I appreciate the suggestion tho.. he was pretty firm about his pricing tho.. labor = $2000 and repair = $3000 lofty yes but she IS a 2006 so parts cud be more expensive.. we shall see.. my gut is churning tho when I think trany.. but I have to wait for monday.. seriously a 2006....with 105 0n the clock./....wow that is what I would call " rarely driven by Lady , only to do grocery shopping and driven carefully, no speeding "..... a car with that mileage is worth between 4 and 6 grand , depending on the overall condition .....And lasts well over 300, 000 KMs....so I would get a second opinion ....... OT : Grabs another vodka and orange and heads out to look for a computer chair .....one that swings while leaning back ha ha !!! |

Yes , another pet peeve is about people bringing newborns to Church , and instead of sitting in the reserved section , they choose to sit behind you in the main section....and the baby is howling most of the Mass... Probably why my prayers to hit the jackpot at the Casino are not being answered!!! People are so inconsiderate !!!
