Forty eight hours ago all was fine

But then horror struck on Saturday.
Your finger cut off and your best friend killed
Oh my sweet son my prayers are for you
And sending healing thoughts many too.


Your operation waiting you lost so much blood
I thought I had lost you many tears fall that flood.
I can't say how this will be
But your a fighter just be strong for me.


So my prayers are sending to get you through this way

First love and only love his words spoke on that day
Telling the story of their love together till that tragic event
A solider of 18 so young in the airforce he was sent.
His eyes sighted this beauty nothing would compare
Her dark complexion and beautiful wavy hair.
He knew from that day she was the one true love
Love at first sight God was sure listening from above.

Her smile gave him hope as he went to go to war
Not giving up hope not on that day or not ever more.
But that day came when he returned to see his devoted love
They embraced so tightly as he took off his gloves.
Holding her hand down on bended knee
Two words he spoke to her Marry Me.

For not much English was spoken as she only knew her own
But that didn't stop them for back to England she was flown.
Their love was so wonderful learning everyday
Her funny accent speaking English many words she would say.

From wartime to rations and staying alive
They made it through the tragic times and was proud parents of five.
Many years passed by as their family grew up
But then one Autumns day that tragic event struck.

For a car came from no where and Struck her down
Killing her straight away as she lay on the ground.
Heartbroken at her funeral her husband gave these words
My Love and only love his tears falling fast
My love for you my darling will always last.

As years went on and old he grew still thinking of his love
That day came as they were reunited up above
A true love story that shows love can last forever
As their love lasted always, as the soldier once said I will not leave you never.

Lovely words

As I gaze up to the sky the sun shinning down on me
The summers gentle breeze brings petals falling like confetti.
Butterfly beauty colours so brightly covered
Baby squirrels quickly run to collect winter store with their mothers.


Hidden in the woodland deer watch and stare
Quietly as they move a sight so rare.
Bees busy working collecting nectar for their queen
Showing how they work how nature becomes a team.


Dragonflies elegantly moving along the open path
Funny sounds from little birds sounding like they laugh.
Ancient trees still standing from the test of time
Nature at it's finest all come into one
As hot heat continues from the golden summers sun.
