So, you are saying exactly what I posted earlier ie As for the original post god created evil because he had to have a way to sort out the worthy ones versus the unworthy ones. There is no other explanation of evil. Every divinity/god has to have a point of saying what is good to it and what is not good to it. So therefore divinity/god in and of itself creates evil and names it. At last a straight clear (ish) answer to the question, you say ;- "god created evil" You go on to explain why you think he did, but you are saying "god created evil" Not Satan, not man, god. Thank you. |

1) I am sorry,  I certainly did not mean to "scold" (I think this may have a specific meaning here of which I am not entirely clear, but I didn't mean to do whatever it might imply, honest.) 2) I have no idea how to perform CPR and would not wish to be sued by screwing it up. 3) I was trying to be lighthearted about something that had become unnecessarily heavy. This is like herding cats.
We can all agree Hitler was evil, even if he personally wasn't killing people. Some of these posts run from the creation to Revelations, some go on in great depth about the nature of evil. Some seem to question its existence. Does it need half a page to give your opinion, Did God create evil? If Satan did, did God create Satan, and if so, did He create evil? If man did, did God create man, and if so, did He create evil? |
