the first to run away
was not me someone else ran from me and when i caught up i had asked why said you promised you won’t for a reply i got evasive eyes more lies so the next time round i ran just to see what it was like to be on the other end then someone else came along this time a Mexican stand-off neither of us ran nor took a step forwards just stood staring at each other from a distance (faraway, close enough) at the same time someone ran away from me again when the stand-off dissolved into a truce i set off immediately caught the runner cornered like a rat more promises came my way false and soon broken as they were i let go (what else could i have done?) after all that i chose to chase running after not away but it got really tiring i got tired of running after you and you and you and you and more yet of you four years was too long so i stopped to catch my breath but soon i was off again running running running this time away now three years later i think it’s time i stop i think the next time round i will walk instead |

I think that we all have the right to 1) be attracted to what we prefer and 2) be honest about what we prefer. I think that if someone wants to state it in a thread and/or their profile that is their right and it let's others know what they are looking for and not looking for. I understand that some subjects are sensitive to some people but as long as it's not said in a rude and offensive way in a thread I don't think there is anything wrong with it. If it's said in a rude and offensive way in a persons profile then we can move on, we can also email... I don't think any one of us would want traits we didn't like pushed upon us by others i.e. if we got an email or a nasty thread response b/c we didn't like short men or women or bald men or heck bald women, that is our right. I don't think the main statement was meant offensively, I think it was made from a recent experience... A lot of us post things from recent experiences and are just venting or just saying how we feel.. I don't think this thread started out any differently than what most would say/do or feel... JMHO Very nicely stated, IP.

Sorry babe....but a Governor outranks a Senator anyday. But if you throw in what she learned from Bill...you're right ! AND SHE'S ONLY BEEN GOV. FOR WHAT 19 OR 20 MONTHS...READ A NEWSPAPER OR SOMETHING WOULD YA??? Obama has spent essentially his entire Senatorial career running for president. and to restate, I'm not a fan of his either... paying attention to the world around me the faith and fear I thought I had disappears but when the noise becomes too loud when the sound of tears becomes too subdue the world envelops me in their sorrowful arms death and war breaking an already broken heart my frighten inner child beside me but we do not see we cannot win this war imploding inside of us bursting to come out precious time slipping away but the days continue on their ordinary way |
