You know whats funny in life is this...as I grow up I was known as Frank and Dorothys daughter. Then when I got married, I was known as Lonnies Wife! Then my first sons friends called me Marks mom and now I am known as Drews mom. Once my kids grow up, I am going to have my own identidity..then what will I do?

Oh that is not funny at all. "Mike's dad has a race car." "Mike's dad built him a skateboard halfpipe." "Mike's dad built him a go-cart." "Mike's dad won a championship."

Blah blah blah blah. I was "Sean's dad" and now I've graduated to "Mike's dad." After this I suppose I'll just be "that angry little guy down the street." laugh laugh laugh

Raising kids.....not again. Difficult yes, worth it.....depends on how good you are at it. Newborns are pretty easy if you don't mind not getting any sleep for a while. Or discovering new odors at each diaper change. noway

Teenagers.....kill them before they reach this age. Trust me. In between the newborn and teen years they are great. Once they turn into teenagers you can't possibly believe just how dumb you are as a parent. I have found out that I just don't know a damn thing about the world and I should feel fortunate to have this highly intelligent being lurking in my house feeding off my very life's blood. laugh

Hopefully my youngest won't turn on me when he hits the teen years. So far....so good.

I go to stop my kid from trying to find me a date.

"Did you know my daddy has a race car and makes lots of money?"

"Michael....stop it!!!!"

I've been to Hell twice already. Divorce is a "Get Out Of Hell" card.

My youngest was three at the time. We were buying his mother an ATV and the owner of the shop had a sweet golden lab that my son just had to get close to and pet. The dog got bored after a while and walked away leaving my son's black sweater covered in golden blonde dog hair. He looks down at this sweater and yells out.......

"Aaaaaahhhh.....DOG FEATHERS!"

Ever see twenty or so adults rolling in tears on the floor of a motorcycle/atv shop?

But obviously they do not use those same rules elsewhere.noway huh
We are talking about Virginia here, ya' know. Too close to D.C. so they feel they can do whatever they please. Including sending a "confidential informant" to break into a person's home. Not very slick.

Good luck and be thorough in your search. Lots of places to look and be sure to keep your notes. A few family members and I traced our paternal lineage a while back. It took us over nine years to get it all down but we did it. Then it scared the crap out of us all!!!

Mixed feelings to know that you are descended from a bloodthirsty prince from Romania. noway

Why is it when you truely like someone, you plan to meet them. And when the time to meet them, something goes wrong and you dont meet, and then you aplogoize your heart out. And it doesnt do sh!t but you still have strong feelings for that person, but they dont want to hear it or even talk to you.

What do you do? And then to matter worst you come to find out that like someone else. I guess let him go is the best thing right? And just move on to someone better then him?
Uhhhhh...you're only 18. Move on. Here's some advice that has worked magnificently for me after two divorces:

I dont think every man wants a wife, every man wants sex, and marriage appears 2 b an ironclad guarantee of that, its exploitation of women yes, but when its over the woman gets 2 steal half the guys money so everyone comes out screwed
Literallybigsmile
And this is why I want no more wives.

Would you relocate for love build a house together without any financing and start a new life.
or
Stay and invest a large sum into your existing business to expand it which would keep you from relocating.
STAY PUT!!!!!!!! Been there, done that, lost the t-shirt in the ensuing divorce.
