Guys, let me tell you. Do NOT go to the park and hang out at the playground alone trying to pick up women. It makes you look like a creep.

Yes this happened to me. This guy was sitting on a bench watching me and my son. My son walked sort of close to him and he started saying how cute he was, this and that. It just really creeped me out. So guys, don't do that.

I go to stop my kid from trying to find me a date.

"Did you know my daddy has a race car and makes lots of money?"

"Michael....stop it!!!!"

Wow!! Sounds like you had a very eventfull day!!!

Just another day in this boring little town. *sigh*

So, what was it that creeped you out? Did this guy ACTUALLY start hitting on you or something?

Well the fact that he was there, watching me and my son while he chain smoked on the bench. I had on my sunglasses so I was watching him cause there wasn't any other moms and kids at the playground. Made me nervous. He was asking me about my son, and after that I came home.

ummmmm....yeah.....I think I'd leave too.... That would make me feel really uncomfortable...don't blame ya there...

bad idea to approach women when they are with their kids... you just end up looking like a pedophile!

Saturday, in the park. I think it was the fourth of July.

Gotta bring the doggie to the park. Wimmen love the doggies!

...that would seem like common sense.

I could have been THAT dude, and waiting for my ex to drop off my kids.
Because I have been there and waiting for her to do that.
And I do talk to strangers and ask about how they are doing, and might ask about how old is their little one or how cute their little one is...
BUT THAT does not make me a petafile it just makes me what I call NORMAL and caring...
But YES, the sick-ones and things THEY have done that WE READ about.
Makes us all a little gaurded when WE think about strangers....
But like life,,,one NEVER knows another until they have a look at their heart and their 'them'as a person..

I have met many a mothers and dads at a park when MY kids were little and they all played together...

And I wouldn't want to judge someone just based on showing some kindness toward ya...
But thats just my thoughts...

If I'm in Subway at Wal Mart and someone comes in with cute kids, I usually make a comment. Some of the little urchins are very cute.

Nothing meant by it and it could be taken the wrong way, but it usually isn't, I hope.

Usually I'm not hanging around at a park. If I am, it's in the sandbox, on the swings or hitting the merry go round. But I guess I haven't done that for about 30 years or so, if not more.

Usually, I'm hanging around the track or the gym or something.

Usually, I don't have TIME to hang around.
