It is a conversational device which may be used to enquire whether the someone's spouse likes games and is a goer. Nudge nudge wink wink say no MORE!

All women are scary, but the goat is hilarious. Compare him with the tragic Scapegoat by Holman Hunt.

There is a Captcha link bottom right of the desktop app. It increases in size on mouse-over. The Captcha has priority over everything to its left. This means buttons like Send and Post Reply won't work if they're at the same level as the Captcha. Scrolling or clicking the tops of buttons may solve the problem.

My favourite pastors are tagliatelle and macaroni. I always chop up long pastors like spagetti and tag before shovelling it in. Macaroni slips nicely onto the tines of a fork. Penne does too, but with a greater likelihood of slipping off between cup and lip, so to speak. I prefer to choose my own nonsense.

Sometimes loving a brother means losing part of yourself. In my case: a kidney.

That's unlikely because Auden moved to the States in 1939 before the bombing began. You're right about the bombing of Guernica (1937). I have experienced the painting at home for years and at full-size in the UN building in New York. The original is in Madrid.

The line "The future kissed you, called you king, Did she? Deceiver!" is something I remembered from school, because it's so powerful. The Poem is "Brothers Who When the Sirens Roar" written by W H Auden in the 1930s. It's actually political and predicts the downfall of the wealthy upper class both incorrectly and pretentiously. The first stanza of another Auden poem "Lay Your Sleeping Head My Love" (Lullaby) is more romantic.
