What bleak a belief! Thank goodness wildflowers are very resilient :) They don't just wither but keep flowering and flowering and flowering. They do of course need healthy soil ( = foundation) and nourishment ( = Tender Loving Care). And they cannot be GM, they've got to be authentic and healthy, then they'll last. Agreed
