| Topic: Is it ever too late to trust fate in love? | |

I married my late wife just two weeks after we met, and we spent 25 wonderful years together. Some called it rushed, but we knew what we felt — and we were right. Fate brought us together, and I still believe it can happen again, even later in life. Now that I’m starting a new chapter, I’m curious: how do you approach love and connection after 50? Has your idea of a relationship changed over the years? I’d love to hear your thoughts — and maybe find someone who still believes in the magic of real connection.

yes it did happened, that way because you guys were compatible, you both wanted same thing which you found in each other. I believe true love still exist though many are just trying to frustrate it but time is everything one day it'll happen. Once you want true love and you're genuine in your intentions you'll definitely find a genuine person too.
I for one have been searching and have chatted with many who turned to be fake , but that didn't discouraged me at all because that's what they want for themselves and I'm able to figure it out. if anyone is searching , set your goals and never compromised it. God is still saying something. |

No, it's never too late! People can fall in love at all ages and as far as I can tell it feels exactly the same as it did when you were 16 or 20 or...
In a way it's even more pure & deeper as you now know much better what you need in order to be fulfilled. So in that sense the chances of the one you fall in love with being a good match are much higher. The only difference can be that after divorce or losing a partner people can remain stuck in their disappointment and/or hurt. From there it isn't possible to fall in love. But if you're healed and ready for new love, it sure as heck can happen! |

Your story deeply moved me. Love is truly a powerful force, capable of uniting two people in a short period of time. The 25 years you and your wife have shared, both the joys and the challenges, are genuine and precious memories.
When it comes to love and emotional connection, I believe that as we age, our understanding of these feelings becomes more profound. In youth, love may be more about passion and impulse, but with time, it becomes more about deep companionship, understanding, and support. After experiencing life's ups and downs, we understand more clearly that love is more than just romance; it also encompasses patience, tolerance, and shared growth. I look forward to the next chapter, exploring and experiencing those authentic and rich connections. I believe there will always be someone like me who has faith in true emotions and is willing to walk through every stage of life together. I'm happy to share these thoughts with you. Your expectations for the future and your faith in love are inspiring. May you find someone who shares your belief in love in your new journey.

True Love is Fleeting.
It is likened unto the Delicate Wild Flowers of the Fields. They Bloom in All Their Glory, Until the Afternoon Sun Withers Them Away. |

True Love is Fleeting. It is likened unto the Delicate Wild Flowers of the Fields. They Bloom in All Their Glory, Until the Afternoon Sun Withers Them Away. What bleak a belief! Thank goodness wildflowers are very resilient :) They don't just wither but keep flowering and flowering and flowering. They do of course need healthy soil ( = foundation) and nourishment ( = Tender Loving Care). And they cannot be GM, they've got to be authentic and healthy, then they'll last. |

When You Lose the Love of Your Life > Dating can Get Bleak. Wild Flowers Like Baby's Breath and Yarrow are Very Delicate. Is that Crystal Clear ?

I don't believe in fate, we all choose our own directions in life in my opinion, however it may turn out. It's never too late to look for love, but better to have a longer courtship, to make sure you are compatible and right for each other. Over 50 you are more likely to be established in life with more to consider than when you were 25. Good luck in your search. |
