However- is there hope for a bad kisser who is great in all other aspects? Can they be taught to be good at kissing or is that just something that comes natural? Are you willing to tell them they're a bad kisser? Are they willing to learn to get better? I would put it delicatly. Maybe something like, "let me show you something I like." and then show them a nice, soft, passionate kiss... I am a terible kisser, please help!! Why do you say that?
