But how can I be happy,
when part of me is gone?
My heart had been shattered once to much,
the pieces aren't all there,
How can someone love me,
when I don't even care?
I want so much to feel something,
to be happy with the sun,
How can I be loved,
when my life has come undone?

to go on with my life,
you think it's oh so easy,
but I thought I'd be his wife...
He said we'd share the world together,
we'd grow old without a care,
and now I find myself alone,
with more pain than I can bare...
He said I was a lady, worth something in his eyes,
How can I get over him,
when I believed his lies?
I am just an empty shell,
waiting for the day,
when I can feel a tiny something,
and know that it's okay.
I have nightmares every night, I can't get myself straight,
I cry myself to sleep,
I am counting on some fate...
I want so much to live again, with joy, with hope, with pride...
But how can I move on,
when I feel so dead inside.

I have a 6 yr. old who has the biggest crush on a beautiful african american girl.

He came home after the 1st day saying, "I get to sit by Savanah. Oh mom- her skin is just like hot chocolate!"

I am thinking of a chastity belt from Santa... j/k!

It is my daughters b-day. I was so happy that she was happy today.

Maybe I should clarify a bit.
I start talking to a man, we get to know eachother and then I get asked questions about how come I am so honest and open.
I reply that I don't see the need for bull**** and games between the sexes. (really- why bother?)

So then, as it progresses, I am told once again, I am a good catch- I hate that phrase.

So what happens? The guys start getting to know how a woman thinks which then makes it better for him and he finds a girl who, you guessed it, is not me.

It's very hard not to be bitter, but I feel like Dear Abbey or yet another best friend. I am happy for them. Really.

I am just a little confused why if I am such a "good catch" I am always thrown back?

I am sooooo trying to find the humor in this, I really am.

I can't help it. It's my nature to be honest, open, and yes- I am NOT like a lot of other women. I am not the coy, girly type and will tell a man the truth about my gender. i.e. how we act, why we do what we do, etc...

I get an e-mail or a call saying, "Thank you for all your advice, and talking openly about women. I have found a girl, went back to the ex, etc."

SHEESH. I must be a lucky charm or something. I guess if you want to find a great girl, you have to talk to me first.
