What do you really want out of life?

Kermit was as many of us strive to be, a simple frog. He wasn't outwardly obsessed with money until later in his career when it fueled his rampage of sex with prostitutes and drugs. We have to remember the Kermit we grew up on, the one that inevitably has touched us all in some way, shape, or form.

Kermit was born in 1955 (exact date unclear) to Jim Henson, again he was a simple frog woven from a coat of Jim's mom. Though Kermit himself has stated he was born in a swamp with 3,265 brothers and sisters and at the age of 12 Kermit left the swamp and began his voyage, both of these stories of Kermit's birth lack clarity (dates, times, names) so it is difficult to say which one is the truth.

Around 1969 Kermit got his start on Sesame Street created by Jim Henson, alongside other muppets at the time Kermit hit right off with stardom but didn't allow it to go too his head. This educational childrens show was a favorite by millions, garnering well over 77 million viewers, this meant Kermit would be paid well. And paid well he was and he soon moved to The Muppets in 1979 with the kick off being The Muppet Movie which was a series of live action musical feature films.

The rest is purely speculation, but many people believe in the 80's Kermit started hanging out a lot with Oscar The Grouch behind the scenes. Anyone that knew a little bit about Oscar, knew he had an insatiable appetite for narcotics and strippers. Eventually we would see Kermit starting to lose control and showing up on set with coke still around his nostrils and numerous needle holes in his arms. Then he seemed to fade off, disappearing for a short time before making a return as a completly sober frog in the mid 90's.

After a few stints on cable television he reunited with The Muppets and had his last performance in 2008 with them. After which to much shock of both the producers and his cast mates, he took his life...R.I.P. Kermit the Frog.
