to some it's only trying to break the ice. i always reply and then we start talking. i have made a lot of good friends that way that i wouldn't have gotten to know if i just deleted and didn't respond. I even respond to the nasty ones and i tell them it's unacceptab;e to me and they usually say sorry

Confession!  I get sick of the same ole lines that I often delete without a response.....especially the ones telling me I'm sexy... Sounds like your screening them out well then.

Every email I write is different because each profile is different. What I say to the person I write to comes from what I read about them or what they say in their posts. People that do what your talking about cause the sincere ones to be overlooked. I actually enjoyed yours....thanks  Good I was hopeing I didn't bring this one on.

They probably are saying similar things to other people. The fact is this is the internet. And the point is to get to know people. Many people should interest everyone. As you get to know someone, thats where it gets narrowed down to friendship, or more. You said it better than I. I agree to some extent. To many people lead others on by doing that. if you can't be friends or at least try to buld a friendship. Why allow someone to get close to you. Since i have been on this site and thats been almost two years. I maybe have told 5 women that i was really interested in them that something might of become of it. Then there are the ones after spending some time with them, only yo find out there not worth my time. The thing i have noticed being on here. people get attatch to easy and that is a big downfall being on the net. |
