what is most important for you to get from a woman in a relationship that you want and need, to be successful in the relationship?

It's cliche, but it has to be communication and honesty.

I cannot tell you how frustrating it is for the other person to be filled with "nevermind" and "whatever" as comebacks. Even in the course of just daily conversation!

And as for honesty, well... A perfect example (that goes hand in hand with communication) that gets me: If I'm doing or did something wrong, TELL me! Bring it up! Mention it to me! Don't sit and clam up for a week at a time and let me think everything is fine and dandy. Be honest and open!

<sigh>

could you do the exact same . . . could you tell a woman you do not find her attractive, or that your feelings have changed even though you will have no explanation why because you dont even know yourself??

In my eyes, a dating site is simply a catalyst for meeting people. Sure, you can have in depth conversations, but it will never substitute human interaction. (Trust me, I was married to a girl from the Internet).

Okay how exactly does ones feelings just change??? How does one day someone love you, or so they say, and then just a few hours later, suddenly their feelings change? This doesnt make ANY sense to me whatsoever...

What you have here is mere physical attraction. It can start off very strong, but the drawback is that it can change even quicker than a few hours.

Kind of like buying something that is a fad, but tomorrow it will not be very important to you.

Such are the internal workings of Internet relationships. Until you can actually meet one another, you don't really have much more than the other persons word. And, unless you're niave, you know how much water that usually holds.

what is most important for you to get from a woman in a relationship that you want and need, to be successful in the relationship?

Communication, I agree with Jace but more importantly to me personally is for both people to treat each other as equals. A relationship where one person tries to dominate the other is usually doomed to failure in the long run, at least in my experience.

Os basically telling them that you loved them then was a lie?

You may have thought you did, but emotions can become powerful online and the want to love or be loved can divert our senses.

And what if this relationship WASN'T an internet relationship...this was a real life relationship that didn't even start online?

That's a different story in a way then. Then it was not love perid, it was simply a lie to get something.

Love is easy to find... Hard to keep.
Getting married is easy... Staying Married, is hard.
Love comes and goes, wether we like it or not.
It's how long it stays, that really matters.
