Right from the very start.
You smiled and touched my heart.
It seemed as if everything was right.
You made me laugh ever day and night.
Oh how I thought it was true.
That I would never be blue.
That finally all the hurt of the past.
Would be gone and now at last.
Could this one tuely be.
The one that could love me.
I thought it was finally the day.
That my special one was sent my way.
But as I sit here alone I can see.
This one was not meant to be.
What I thought could be love.
As I look up at the sky above.
It opens up and starts to rain.
Even tho my heart feels the pain.
I wrap my sweater around me tight.
As I look off into the night.
I can see in the distance a stream.
Thinking could this all be a dream.
All the things I wanted it to be.
A love finally just for me.
But it was surely not to last.
As all of the hurt from the past.
Comes rushing though this heart of mine.
It has happen one more time.
I put my heart out for all to see.
And love was not meant to be.
When will I ever finally learn.
Not to let my heart get burned.
As I sit here I want to scream.
To see if this is all but a dream.
But I know in my heart it is real.
But in time it will heal.
I know that some day.
My true love will come my way.

it's funny I never really even
wrote but a few before joining this
site but due to all the other very
good writers here I have tried
writing a few more in here and ya'll
all make it worth wild for someone to
share there heart with ya from the words
