      I tip 20% or more and $1 per drink per round... but i use to serve and tend.

      It all depends on the service. I always tip unless the service is very bad. But I make the decision on how much to tip.  It might be less than 15% or more.

      Because I have waitressed before and I know what they get paid, I always tip generously. It is a tough job!    | |

      I start at 15% or $1 per person, whichever is higher, & add depending on service. If I am with messy kids, I add more. If I stay talking for 2 hours, I add more, because I know the server could have flipped that tables several times & made more. If I feel like the sever is trying to rush me out, then I go back to the 15 %. I am a picky eating & often place speacial orders, stuff without condiments, or condiments on the side, if they get it right I add more, because it is hard to get this out of the kitchen at times. I tend to tip well & consider all these things because I have been a waitress.
