Sorry to disagree with you, but i for one am never different from anyone. I am who i am and i know myself better then anyone. I do see a little bit of your point, although it's called being real with yourself. hell ask anyone on here. I have never changed who i am in the two years i almost been on here and it's call being consistent of who i am and not many people can say that...

So you would treat a woman you are interested in romantically the same as you would treat someone you had a distaste for?

In my dating experience there are a few catagories of men....here's a few.

The genuinely great guy- Not to be mistaken for the "nice" guy. He says and does all the right things, and is GENUINE about it. Unfortunatly, sometimes things don't click. This guy is the diamond.

The emotional sponge- This guy loves emotional attention from ALOT of women, a casa nova as it were, however, he gives just enough with no commitment, to be elusive, and when questioned about his commitment to you, he runs...he can't afford to lose the attention from the other ladies right?

The physical sponge- self explanitory. See definition of emotional sponge but add sex and minus any emotion at all.

The yes man- This guy can't tell anyone NO, he will break plans with you, to go do something for someone else, Very similar to the "nice" guy.

The mentally instable- things are going fine, and then out of the blue when you say something as benine as "I just love spring" he flips out and yells about how spring is the devils work.

Stage 5 clinger- After one date he names your children, picks siding colors for your new house, and asks "Should we have the wedding in the states or would you rather go out of the country for it?"

The NICE guy- Has no back bone, will break plans because his brother's wife's aunt's daughter's friend's sister is in the hospital with the flu and he should really go see her. He does things for what seems to be for you, but in reality wants something in return for it, and gets angry and says things like "God, I'm such a nice guy, why do I always get the short end of the stick" Can't tell another woman that he is seeing you, because an eon ago they flirted once, and that might break her heart.

Can't nail down guy- Everything about the date is great, things went smooth, and as long as he calls the shots, he's fine, but if you ask "Wow, I'd really like to see you again" his reply is "Why do women want to tie me down?"

Do I sound bitter and jaded? eh, maybe a little.....laugh laugh laugh

But I'm sure someone could make a list about women with the same definitions....and I'm ok with that too....we're crazy, no doubts about that...bigsmile

none, i'm just the walker

I would assume I'm a genuinely great guy, but of course this is just my assumption and has no basis to back it...I guess I'm one of those guys you just have to meet and stick me in a category if you will.
