Ohhhh Sherrie here is a story for you the kids and I was just talking
the other night about some of the things they did growing up We had
bought a set of bunk beds to go into my sons room to save space so he
had more room to play with his toys well he was running around one day
playing the cap wonder as most boys do while playing had him a cape left
over from HALLOWEEN Batman's well he was playing in his room which I
thought was great till............... I heard this big crash and him
crying ran into the room well he had decided he wanted to fly so he
draped a a baby blanket my daughter used for her dolls over the ceiling
fan blade needless to say he crashed to the floor along with the blade
from the ceiling fan was not funny at the time but the look on his face
sitting on his ass in the middle of the floor was priceless. Years down
the road things like that you can and will laugh at but it will drive ya
crazy till then lol noway

They are right about cherishing these moments but hide the matches and
lighters, seriously. Hell, my daughter took my car on a 150 mile joy
ride in the middle of the night when she was 13 - you know, I still
can't laugh about that one.

I have grandbabies now and my daughter just took off with them today to
go to another state, and I have helped raise them since day one, my
granddaughter used to call her mom, and me mom-mom, and today she took
off while I was gone so I didn't even get to tell the kids goodbye, so I
might just take you up on the sale of the baby. Sounds like he was
looking for attention. Take care Sherrie.

My son heated the cigarette lighter in my car and proceeded to burn
holes in the carpet, mats and seats . . . thank goodness that was a LONG
time ago.

These things happen; it's a part of life. Enjoy it while you can . . .
my son is now 23 and on his own. I miss him very much. Time goes by
much to quickly.

i feel ya, mine is 7 now but when he was 5 and starting kindergarden he
would run away from school (often) i worked nearby so would leave my
car in front of the school one day he decided he'd had enough and
instead of coming to moms work which he normally did.. he got in the VW
i had left in reverse, keys in ignition(dumb mom) and backed it around
in one big circle, Thank god not hitting any thing before he stalled it
out . funny now, definantly not then.

it will get easier though i assure you!

This is why we don't leave 3yr olds alone unattended, even to use the
POTTY!!!

nothing personal I understand this was a joke but serious consequences
can arise from a person advertising their child for sale on the internet
or anywhere for that matter

Fed, She was just expressing a moment that at the time was scary, yet to
look back on it, it was really cute and funny,,,
moments of which i had my share of when my kids were little...
So as I once learned from a very wise women, if you have nothing nice to
say, you should just say nothing,,,
If my mother were still alive and reading this ::
Her actual words to you would have been (STFU) but me being the MOM that
i am i could never say those words...

Sherrie,, My 18 year old son took the iron and ironed the carpet all the
way through to the cement below while i was taking a shower,,, Boy did i
want to sell him then.... The stories i could tell of my 4 kids...

Sherrie, Smile for you will have many more of the stories to share and
many more thoughts of selling our kids.... flowerforyou
